Re-entry and All Levels Salon
Added 2022-01-31 06:51:48 +0000 UTCSo one of the things that I’ve been thinking about, is that next week I will be doing a discussion on cancel culture on the SBS (Australia’s publicly funded foreign language and culture broadcaster). They have a program called insight, in which they run discussions about things, aiming to be nuanced and in-depth, I guess much in the way that I do in my Tea With Alice and the salons. Though of necessity, given that it’s on television, less of a… safe space for incoherence?
Speaking of which I really should take Tea with Alice off hiatus. I keep meaning to, when things are a little less hectic with the baby, ha, or more realistically, when I have adjusted to the shift in gravitational axis and I still have the intention to do that within the next weeks. Maybe I’ll make this television appearance the catalyst. The problem is, I wanted to come back with a solo to cast discussing the interesting things about parenthood, to try and sort of get that out of the way, and I haven’t really been able to sum up this galloping horse in a way that I would find satisfying. Put it to one side and get back to broader questions, perhaps. Or do a Q&A.
Speaking of which, this weeks salon is an all levels access one. I would love it to be a Q&A, as well as an A & Q, in that I would like to talk to you about stuff. Details are below, I will send through the link closer to the time.

I’ll see what I can do, given that it’s an open access salon. Actually that’s one of the things I want to A about.
