UB Dual [WIP]
Added 2024-12-28 19:00:09 +0000 UTCNew UB just dropped!! UB Dual (Intwizzor), a Fire/Ice type from the Ultra Forest! This is one of the oldest concepts I had, a literal "pair" of scissors that act as a rival to Kartana. Also planning a third Rock type member so they form a rock-paper-scissors trio, each with a 4x weakness to another! Will probably share some of the progress sketches for this design too, as this is pretty much a total overhaul of the (years-old) previous design.
Some design notes:
The scissor handles are stand-ins for their faces! There's a sharp "beak," a crest atop their heads, and the hollow portion forms an eye shape from the negative space. Plus some grooves along the handles to look like nostrils and scars. I also threw in some bird-like elements too with the beak, feathered blade, and simplified talons - almost like they're a blue jay / cardinal pair.
