Thank you so much! I really love this episode, and I especially loved your reaction for it too. And I absolutely agree with you that each of these characters and the actors who play them, can play off one another so brilliantly, that you don't necessarily miss the characters you love the most when they aren't in an episode much, if at all. I could easily watch an episode entirely between Rumplestiltskin and Regina, as easily as I could watch an episode entirely between Snow and Charming, or Emma and Henry, etc... All of these characters and their actors who play them are phenomenal. :) As for We Are Both... David... or more so Prince Charming... is amazing throughout, and I love how he is as unsure of himself as he was throughout season one as simply David Nolan, and even as a Prince in the Enchanted Forest, saying how Snow was the one who gave the speeches, while he did more of the fighting. Both Henry and Ruby really helped him come into his true self again, and they helped him to learn the lessons he needed to learn, which I love. Also... David does really well with his "We are both" speech. It is beautiful and I absolutely believed him like each of the characters did. And his relationship with Henry is absolutely adorable, as it continues to be. It is pretty clear the writers and creators knew of the fans' dislike of David Nolan, but I still really love David's storyline and growth show throughout this episode. Fantastic! :) By the way... everyone who've I've watched reacting to Once Upon a Time always seems confused by what to call Charming. Charming... for now is just Charming, since his true name has yet to be spoken, while his cursed self is still David. The only time he had a different name aside from being called Charming by Snow, was when he pretended to be his twin brother, James, in King George's and Rumplestiltskin's ruse for the sake of George's Kingdom when he tried to trick King Midas for his gold and wealth. For a long time, everyone knew him as James, until eventually Charming told Snow the truth about who he really was when they got together again and married. I hope this makes sense. Now... as for Regina's story in both the past and present storylines, I absolutely love them too. And like you... I love, love, love that she is trying to find redemption, all because she loves Henry so much. It's so beautiful. :) And there were so many great parallels between them with how Regina treated Henry, like Cora treated her. And I really love the origin story for Regina becoming Rumplestiltskin's student in magic too. Cora was a real witch and a horrible mother, but I'm so happy that Regina had come around to see the person she really was. I love that Regina finally punished her too. Seeing her push Cora through the looking glass into a land only known to us for now that its a land Rumple has no use of ever traveling to... was so, so satisfying. But back to my thoughts about Regina in Storybrooke... I too absolutely love that Regina corrected her mistake and allowed Henry to go home with David. What a powerful character building moment for her. Seeing Regina apologize to Henry for hurting him for so long, and then telling him that she now is seeking redemption. So beautiful, and one of my all time favorite moments for Regina that we've seen from her so far. As for Regina's scenes with Gold, as well as David's scene with him too... very cool. I always love the two villains talking, and any confrontation with Gold. Robert Carlyle is a brilliant actor, just like so many actors in this show. And then... upon being told by Charming that they still cant cross the town line without losing memories of who they really are all over again, Gold becomes livid and smashes two of his glass cases and everything on them. He did all he's done to get Regina to cast the curse and to get Emma to break it, all so that he could find his son out there in our world somewhere. And now... he can no longer leave to do so. Of course he's livid. Brilliant! And finally... I was really happy we got a little of Emma and Mary Margaret in the end, and now they're about to come face to face with Cora. I hate that they're being treated like prisoners by Mulan and Aurora, but I kind of understand a little too. After all... as far as they know, Emma and Mary Margaret are the ones responsible for the Wraith coming into their world and killing Phillip. But I still hate seeing them in such a predicament. And now with Cora there too. Not good. Oh... and I also felt so badly for Marco/Geppetto and August. So sad. I would have loved to have seen them reunite in this episode. Thankfully, August has woken up and can move again, but sadly... he's still made of wood like when he was a little boy. And unfortunately, August is still ashamed of being a man now made of wood, given that him being so means he failed his father and strayed from being selfless, brave, and true like Blue warned him not to do. Is this why he's no longer in the room when Geppetto enters to find him? We'll see. :) Overall... this was a really good episode with many emotional moments. I love it! Thank you so much again! I look forward to your coming reactions. It's getting so exciting. Until next time...
