Love Frieren to death though. Also the first half of this episode was so emotional, honestly Frieren can't keep getting away with this.

In the manga Denji was actually singing a song about having a union job. And of course mappa doesn’t want to have that in the show😂

2026-01-27 01:16:37 +0000 UTCNot really. Adapting the next story arc would just need a total of 21 or 22 episodes for Season 2. There is no need to cut the arc in half. It was completly unnecessary. And the story arc after that will probably end up as a movie. That seems to be more common in this decade for anime.

The 7 most powerful demons in the world separate from the Demon King himself who was the strongest. 2 of them were killed by Himmel, Eisen Hieter and Frieren. 3 of them were killed by the Hero of the South The other 2 escaped, one of them being Aura which Frieren killed back in episode 10, so that means that there is only 1 left alive still.

They’ll likely end the season on Chapter 80, 81, or 82, and all of those tease the next story arc, or even start it outright depending on the Chapter. The teasing will even start in Chapter 77. In the worst case, it’ll be similar to Dandadan Season 1, just ending the season in the middle of a scene in a new arc, but this time people will be waiting years instead of just months. But you’re right, they’ll call it Season 3, not Season 2 Part 2 or Season 2B.

I just hope Frieren takes care of their children and sticks with their family tree that way she will never be lonely again. I can already see her making happy bonds with their children in the future.

The arc in the manga that follows is long, and would require basically a whole season dedicated to it. If they tried to include it, they'd need to cut the arc in half, and have the other half in season 3, and along with half of the arc that follows, with half of season 4 being dedicated to that arc. So I do think that there was more thought put into it than AOT releasing like 6 collections of the "final season".

Fans got really angry with Jujutsu Kaisen Season 2 Part 2 because they animated an entire season in just a few months, which caused an insane time crunch. Animators reportedly slept for multiple days in a row at the studio. They were forced to stop release more episodes and did a break for multiple weeks for the release of the last few episodes. Just compare that to the roughly 1.5-year production of the Chainsaw Man movie. Also, in Jujutsu Kaisen Season 2 Part 2, there is a fight inside an office building. It’s the MAPPA animation studio, and the animators animated it being destroyed. Let’s just watch Kyoto Animation works like A Silent Voice, Sound! Euphonium, and Clannad. No animators were exploited in these productions. Also, Vinland Saga author Makoto Yukimura has always taken breaks and worked at his own pace to protect his health, and the manga magazine never canceled his story.
