2026-01-15 18:35:40 +0000 UTCThe movies are very much a different genre - sci-fi fantasy adventure. They do feel quite different. But considering how popular they are, I think it's still worth watching them - Episodes 4, 5, 6 will wrap up the empire storyline (1-3 are prequel about Darth Vader's story). You can safely ignore the sequel trilogy since it's mostly a new story. To finish Andor/empire's storyline, you only need Rogue One and Episodes 4-6 (A New Hope, The Empire Strikes Back, and Return of the Jedi).
