frieren friday will return ?

Vicente de Paulo Guimaraes Priante

i saw somewhere someting like Ryo is a confident introvert, Nijika a confident extrovert. Bocchi anxious introvert and Kita anxious extrovert, and it made so much sense remembering how kita get anxious when you say her real name or in the first episodes when she was anxious to confront the girls again and stuff

On the topic of playing piano, before Frieren existed my favourite anime was Your Lie in April. I think you would both love it as a show and be even more inspired by the music in it 😊

Zerolysm

Skip and Loafer is my #1 wholesome uplifting anime.

Sekraan

Day whatever of asking to watch 86👀

Shamil

Frieren next?

Brayan Sauceda

Is it just me or does anyone else think they would love the show kimi ni todoke

MARCH COMES IN LIKE A LION IS PERFECT FOR THEM

thenamelessgirl

no

CSM they literally said the action was their least favorite part so idk why JJK which is much more action focused would hold them

My Toasty Toast

How did I miss the notification for this? Truly one of my favorite wholesome shows, I’m so glad I got a good excuse to watch it again (and hopefully not another three more years until season 2)

My Toasty Toast

Jujutsu Kaisen next?

Trying to think of other lighter uplifting shows in a similar vein yall would like to throw into the mix. Personally bocchi, frieren and NIchijou. Are my go to comfort shows. When im stressed or just need a little relaxing mood lift. And since you guys really dig the other two in that group. Nichjou! Humor style reminds me a lot of bocchi. Can't imagine its winning any polls though. And maybe not the best reaction content since it barely has any story, Its just slice of life moments strung together as comedy skits... but I will throw it out there into the void that if you like the humor and style of bochhi its another excellent comfort show for anybody to watch on there own time.

Tokyo godfathers!

Bocchi the GOAT! What a cute trip

I hope you guys watch Akira or Tokyo Godfathers for next for the anime movie.

I highly recommend watching March Comes In Like a Lion. It is a phenomenal show and it's right up your alley. It's very poetic and deals with depression, family and growth. It's got so many heartfelt moments and it rarely ever gets mentioned nowadays

Bin Tanjil Taher

As my last weekly recommendation, "If I could be a constellation" by our girl group, which they performed in this episode, is about the admiration that Bocchi and Kita have for each other; very beautiful lyrics :)

I always get a giggle out of the bocchi stage dive. Thanks for the reactions and wishing the best for 2026 ☺️ I have been listening to Raglan road by Luke Kelly a lot today check it out!

+1 for FRUITS BASKET!! There is romance, found family, self love, healing, forgiveness and so many other fun stuff with a whole group of lovely kids. They will adopt Tohru (my pfp) in 1 min! I really hope they will watch it.

Girls if u want an anime with genuine romance watch fruits basket after you finish watching monster. It’s a longer anime with 3 seasons, about 63 episodes in total. A lot of people do recommend it but Unfortunately I don’t see it winning against other shows in a poll. I’d recommend to just play it if you ever decide to watch it, the same way u did with Vinland.

Frieren The Hamburger Slayer

You will love The Apothecary Diaries and also JJK for the people who said you won't liked are probably the same that said you will not like Chainsaw Man

It's currenttly #48 in the Short anime strawpoll. Maybe the Bocchi Fans can leave some votes to push it higher :D https://strawpoll.com/w4nWWE9XJnA

I'm not sure if I already mentioned it, but I recommend "Glassy Sky" by Donna Burke. Awesome song. Otherwise the German song "Barfuß Am Klavier" by AnnenMayKantereit. Also with 2025, I love to listen to "Hurra die Welt geht unter" from the same singer, which means "Hurray, the world is ending".

I know it won't win any polls, but I (along with a massive fanbase in Japan and China) can vouch that "BanG Dream! It's MyGO" is absolutely top-tier within the girls' band genre. I’d even argue that its psychological depth and character development arcs are top-tier compared to anything else I’ve watched. I'm well aware that the short anime slot is occupied for the foreseeable future, but I really, really hope that the next time you’re in the mood for another girls' band show, you’ll give MyGO a chance. I guess, to me, this show is like what Black Sails is to Cosmotron😂

Happy New Year to you both! My final recommendation is 'Ride On Shooting Star' by The Pillows.

I’m pretty sad Bocchi is over for now but also happy that Frieren is back. Just finished rewatching Frieren the other day and I’m fully prepared and excited for the next season. Many people speculate that Bocchi will also be coming out sometime this year as well, might be mid or late 2026. So there is a lot to look forward to :D

Frieren The Hamburger Slayer

Such a nice way to end a season, curious and looking forward to what comes next, I usually like to read ahead with the manga but like you mention, they seem to have so much fun with the animation that I've been content to wait. Random little side story, when this originally came out I watched it with my roommates, one took a trip to Japan and came back with these little charms of each bandmate and shared them based on who the group think matched best and I got Ryo. I feel like the most prevalent thing is the on-going gag that she's always getting others to spend on her without paying back, but its the little moments of awareness like her knowing that Bocchi wanted to go home and play with her new guitar or helping her with lyrics that I love along with her comfort of being on her own. Last songs to recommend, I think I'll go with the newest finds I've only just heard but are quickly getting played a lot. "Best Days" by Con The Artist, another reflective chill indie rock vibe, and "HURT" by Dead Poet Society for something with a bit more grit, for anyone else pursuing creative work and struggling, I think it'll strike a chord, hopefully more motivating than defeating like it was for me. Both songs also kind of have a sense of time passing and choosing how you spend it, guess its on the mind since I'll turn 30 this year 😅 Best of luck with the piano! The basics might not be the most engaging or interesting things to learn, but the sort of comfort/familiarity it builds makes learning the fun stuff or songs you actively want to learn how to play much more approachable. It is a slow process, if there are times it starts to feel like a chore, even learning a simplified way to play a favourite melody from a song has a little sense of reward. I practiced for over 10 years before eventually stopping, but I'm glad I learned, grateful for all it gave me. ^^

Kessoku Band has a full album out with 12 songs. It’s so good! Also drunk senpais band Sick Hack has a full version of their song I’m the Only Ghost
