Here is how song number #14 is shaping up. It's weird how sometimes I initially aim for a certain sound, but then quite quickly it starts to sound quite different. And then an annoying quandary begins, like should I fight it and try to return toward the initial idea, or just allow the thing to take its own path etc etc..
Anyway this should be ready before the end of the week. The little single note acoustic guitar is just a guide for what the vocal melody will be.

Also, sorry for the lull lately, jetlag is an absolute killer. It's a 20+ hour flight from Europe to Australia, and coming home is always the worst, I'm falling asleep at odd hours, having weird dreams and just generally feeling like a zombie. I'm slowly getting back to normal now though. I've been rehearsing with Nick Delaney (bass) and Arron Light (drums) for the Toehider Australian tour that kicks off in Wollongong this Friday, so I'm looking forward to getting out and playing some shows. The band is sounding killer!
