Love this episode. They write the characters so well with how they put up their walls. Jet's comments on women are coping with his ex leaving him. Faye runs away and shoots first so she can't be swindled again. The bonds between them feel very real, how they can see past each others walls and understand each other.

I was waiting all week for your reaction to this episode, especially after the discussion of the last one.“ My Funny Valentine” is a famous jazz

Anyone wanna place bets on a chance LM will cosplay as the Bebop crew for the movie or one of the episodes? I feel like they could both easily do Faye, although in my opinion Milena seems like she could pull off a Spike fit

The girls were so close to getting it when they said the overarching theme of the show is Earth. It's moving on. Humanity has to move on from what happened to Earth the same way our characters have to move on from what happened to them.
Every episode is about someone moving on or failing to move on from something traumatic.

Yeah his writing is definitely from the time the show aired

Totally agree with their take on Jet. I think he's a pretty decent guy, in the way that some men are very nice while still being low-key sexist. Jet is the more outdated character because of that, like it makes you remember how old the show is, but he's still charming because deep down he's a kind hearted man and it shows in how he treats everyone, not just the crew.
