But In the U.K. you don’t even get a 1% annual interest rate return on that. That’s fucking terrible.
If you’re someone wanting to invest money. You’re better off putting your money into the stock market into a long term index fund such as the S&P 500
I will make much more detailed videos on this but I wanted to bring it up quickly just to give you a comparison.
Before investing in ANYTHING
- ALWAYS have 6-12 months emergency fund
- Invest with money you are OKAY with loosing
- Don’t put your emotions into an investment and don’t loose your head when you see the market is going down Because the stock market ALWAYS recovers (use picture attached as reference)
- Be patient, you have to be long term minded and think 10,20,30 years ahead. It’s not supposed to make you rich in 6 months. It’s just a better strategy than keep and excessive amount of money in your bank account (£50,000 +)
