Hey guys! Long time no chat.
I think March 2021 has been the busiest month of my life to date so let's take a little break together and catch up!

Maro Retrieval Missionβ’οΈ (don't mention publicly pleaseπ)
Here's a little summary in case you missed my previous posts: Canadians still aren't allowed into Korea for political reasons, so I tried to apply for a special circumstances visa but the embassy turned me down. Sooo Mark is currently in Korea on a mission to bring back Maro for me. If you're part of the Patreon Discord I've been keeping everyone up to date over there, and otherwise I'll have a vlog of the whole experience up once it's all over!
It has been very stressful to say the least. There is not enough information available regarding international travel between Japan & Korea during the pandemic, so it's kinda just been a case of winging it and hoping things go ok. It been very very hectic and exhausting, but so far so good! Had a few hiccups, but Mark is currently one week into his quarantine in a hotel in Seoul and is in good spirits.
My ex is kindly trying to get some time off work so he can help with the final vet prep for Maro, and if by some miracle this all goes well Maro will be here in Japan for the first week of April! ππ
I've been moving some of my furniture around and trying to setup the house for when he arrives, but part of me is also worried that something will go wrong and he won't be here in April so I'm scared to commit to it 100%π

Neko Neko Post
This month I've also been working on a project for my stationery company, Neko Neko Post. We've found an extremely talented local artist who has agreed to collaborate on some personalised art for us! We're going to create postcards and have them as a permanent item in our online shop.
My goal for Neko Neko Post this year is to become profitable enough that we have the ability to donate to local cat shelters, and cat rescue organizations here in Japan. I think having these permanent items in our shop will give us the ability to do that so I'm pretty stoked π»
Here's a sneak peek of the first piece of art we commissioned:

Photoshoot with Luke β¨
So my good friend Luke is going to be leaving Japan very soon to return back to Irelandπ’ He's an extremely talented photographer so we got together for a little photoshoot in Tokyo before he leaves! I always wanted to do something on the ~cool~ side and he made it happen!!
You can find him on insta @lukecraigphoto. He also makes these awesome filter presets that you can use for Lightroom mobile to edit your photos. If you're interested in those they can be purchased from his website: lukecraigphoto.com

Exciting Sponsorship for my YouTube ChannelπΈ
I've also been working on an exciting collaboration with Suntory π¨ Suntory is a HUGE brand name here in Japan and I'm so honoured that they want to work with me. I pitched the idea of creating an ~aesthetic~ vlog showing off cocktail ideas that can be made with their drinks, and so far they seem stoked about it so it will probably get the OK from them! If all goes well that video will be up in May I believe. (And hopefully feature Maroπ€)
--------------------------------
I feel like I've probably missed something, but let's just leave it there for now I guess! I included lots of photos I've taken throughout the month in the photo album here since the quality seems to be a lot higher on Patreon than it is on Twitter and Instagram. Feel free to use them for phone/computer wallpapers if you like π
