My Favourite Spot in the City 🍁 Morioka Castle Park

Took a little stroll around Morioka Castle Park today - I couldn't believe the colours! I had never been here in the fall before😍 On Saturday at 11:00am Japan Time I'll be doing a little ~walk with me~ livestream here, hope you guys can join!

The Castle Park is probably Morioka's most famous spot, the stone walls around the park are ruins of the 3-story castle that once stood here hundreds of years ago.

The best time to visit the park is during Autumn, early November is probably your best bet if you want to catch the sea of red autumn leaves❤️During Spring (for cherry blossom viewing) and Summer they hold little festivals here with food stands, and festival games🍡

If you're thinking of visiting Morioka on your next Japan trip, fall is definitely when the city looks its best! Well, most of Japan for that matter! 🍂
