Final Packaging Material Arrived!✨ Weekly Catchup

The custom envelopes and stickers we ordered for Neko Neko Post arrived today🥳I think this means we just need to do a final check on our website, and submit it for confirmation and we're ready to launch! Crazy! I can't believe how fast everything came together. I think it's only been a month since Ushka and I came up with the idea. We really wanted to get things up and running asap so we could give people something fun to look forward to this year. I love receiving things in the mail, I love cats, and I love stationery - so I hope our fun little stationery subscription packs that combine all 3 of these things will bring some happiness to a pretty crap year🙏

Personally, getting things together to start this business has kept my mind off how sad I am about not being able to get Maro (and/or) Luna back this Spring as I had originally planned. Japan finally announced today that they're letting foreign residents of Japan leave and enter the country (like Japanese people have been allowed all along) - however in addition to the testing and 2-week quarantine required on arrival, foreign residents of Japan will also be required to take a Covid-19 test 3 days prior to their departure to Japan. I'm not sure how available tests are in other countries, but after experiencing the pandemic here in Japan where they won't even test you if you have all of the common Covid symptoms, I'm not overly confident that it's going to be easy to get a test without any symptoms at all. I'll try to contact someone in Korea and ask what their policies on that would be, fingers crossed I figure out something because I'm starting to feel like I'll never get them back at this point :(

In happy news I spent the last week in beautiful Yamagata with friends and it was a nice escape🌾 If you've seen my most recent video you saw what Natsuki and I got up to, and right after that was filmed I headed back to Tsuruoka City to do a little farmstay experience and help promote their local specialty: Dadachamame soybeans! The farmer that I spent the day with was so unbelievably kind, and even though he didn't really have a product that I could promote directly in my video, he was just really happy that I would be sharing footage of his soybean farm with the world! It was so much fun I took waaaaay more footage than I needed so I have a feeling it's gonna take me quite a while to sort through and edit😅But my friend Derek (I think it'll be the first time he appears in my vids? He introduced me to the farmer!) came along with his fancy drone and we got some really nice shots! Can't wait to show you guys! I just got back to Morioka today, and because I've been up since 3am picking soybeans I'm pretty sleepy, no trampoline workout tonight unfortunately haha.

OH I wanted to ask if anyone's seen Tenet yet? I'm really looking forward to watching it but it doesn't come out for a while longer here in Japan. I heard it's pretty confusing and needs to be watched a few times to understand it, but so far I've heard good reviews😄

I guess that's all in the way of updates from me! What's new with you guys!?

PS - I received 3 packages to my PO Box today! I'll open them up in the livestream! I'm thinking to have it on Sunday August 30th, sometime early afternoon Japan time. I'll decide a time and let you guys know tomorrow so keep an eye out on the Patreon feed for that! ❤️

I watched some movies I could recommend :) The Breadwinner. This one is a super beautifully animated movie about a family living in Afghanistan when the Taliban ruled. The father is put in prison for teaching science, which wasn't allowed, and the daughter sets out to set him free. First Cow. I really liked this as well. It takes place in America when the first European settlers arrived. I really liked the green surroundings in this movie and the simple but really engaging story. Happiness. Well, this one was...special. Basically it's about a bunch of dysfunctional people tied together in different ways. The movie is like an accident you don't want to look at but can't look away from at the same time. Not sure if that makes any sense ^_^

Tenet was great, just watched it. It wasn't as confusing or hard to understand as people led me to believe. Things make sense if you really pay attention on what's happening. Surely there might have been problems with the time travel etc. But damn I liked it and I recommend people go watch it
