The All Subs Doctrine
Added 2023-08-19 05:33:50 +0000 UTCIf K&P is much to go by, figuring out subs' needs is like trying to beat Gu Li at Go. That’s why Psychic Dom has a veritable treasure trove of knowledge about how to detect our sadness and fix it through 101 forms of kinky therapy. Psychic Dom is a psychologist, a sex god, and a life coach all neatly packaged in a black T-shirt.
He writes endless posts about how to interpret what Subs™ need.
He never asks. He preaches. There’s no need for questions when you can wrangle a sub’s most secret thoughts to the ground using imagination alone.
I don’t choose sex partners because they’re therapy gurus. I prefer a person with a doctorate for that kind of thing, primarily because psychotherapists know more about my head than I do. This is not a quality Psychic Dom can mimic, given his lack of PhD and all.
And even if you’re the rare dom who does have a PhD, it’s generally frowned upon to use it on sex partners, boundaries being as important as they are. Trying to do so is presumptuous anyway. Why do you even think we’re less competent at living than you are?
Psychic Dom’s opinions are all based on his All Subs Philosophy. You know the one: All subs need structure when they’re miserable. All subs want precisely an hour of aftercare. All subs need this combination of variables in order to feel whole. All subs need punishment. All subs want total psychic control.
The trouble is that the “All subs” philosophy is even less precise than astrology. At least the zodiac bothers to create 12 different personality sets—not enough, but certainly better than the All Subs Doctrine’s meagre one. There’s no such thing as “All subs.” We’re all unique people with our own natty needs and preferences, and if you treated us as such, you might learn a little about the individual you’ve fallen for.
