Some Info -
1. I used 0.4mm nozzle and 0.20mm layer height with standard PLA
2. I recommend using tree supports for the grappling hook STL, and orienting it with the tip facing downwards. It's not going to look perfect, but that's the most efficient option in my opinion.
3. I used a chopped-up <$5 80mm PC fan for the motor, but you can use stronger motors for better performance. I recommend 1/18 scale RC crawler motors (they have pretty high torque for their size)
4. I recommend using regular sewing cotton thread because thinner threads tend to help reduce unspooling resistance and thus consequently increase the range of the blaster.
5. Depending upon your setup, some of the joints may be either a bit tight or a bit loose for you, so please consider either sanding off the tight-fitting parts or using tape if some parts end up being slightly loose-fitting.
6. I recommend using 3M's VHB double-sided tape for attaching the reel box and base plate to your blaster because you kinda need the reel box to stay in place while you reel back your grappling hook.
