RHTMAV) Chapter 1 Part 5

As I exited the house to go to the car and stood under the sun, I quickly pulled the hood of my jacket up and hid my hands in my sleeves. I do not know why, but I suddenly felt a wave of weakness overcome me and the urge to hide from the sun.

 It was the strangest sensation and something I had never felt before. It was as if all the energy in my body had drained out of me at once. But as soon as I covered up, that sensation disappeared.

I made a note to do some tests on this. But now that I think about it, my mother used to always wear long sleeves and gloves during the day as well as a wide-brim hat.

But I never had this issue before, not even in my dreams, so this was all something new. Maybe it had to do with my sudden surge of strength, which, to be honest, I am handling as if it were the most natural thing in the world. Most people would have issues with suddenly becoming stronger than they were before, but it’s as if my instincts are making it so that I am not overusing it unless I actually want to.

For now, I can only keep myself covered until I figure out what the deal is. I will be sure to get some clothes like the clothes my mother used to wear. I will also need to test moon light as well.

On the drive to school, my thoughts were preoccupied with plans for the future. I needed to start a business. One that I could secretly build up so I could hire the right people who would hopefully aid me in my quest to get revenge.

Once I confirm my knowledge is correct then I will start putting things into motion. In two years, from what I know, there will be a toy that will be all the rage and will have a high net volume. Which if I can sell the idea to someone, I can gain the capital needed to start a small business.

There are two things I am lucky about if everything proves to be real. First is that as someone studying business I paid a lot of attention to the stock market. Even before entering college, I always watched the stock market so I could invest quite a bit short term to gain even more capital.

But my main goal is that the housing market will be skyrocketing soon. I will start a brokerage firm first. This is the easiest and best way to gain lots of money quickly, especially if I can put my knowledge to work. I am mainly going at this as if my dreams were real since I can only hope it is true.

A brokerage firm only needs a few people to keep it running at the start, which means if I can get a half mil to start, I can quickly gain clients. Marketing and keeping track of the market is all that is needed. Of course, enough assets are needed as well. But if my clients make it big, then so do I.

I will need to make some connections before then, and I will also need to prove myself. But I think within one month, I can get some high-profile clients.

It was all planning and dreaming at this point, I know, but I do hope I can make it all work. But first, I need to figure out what I can sell to gain the capital I need. I know that shitty father of mine will never hand over such a large amount of money. To have then thousand for shopping was already quite amazing.

“Miss we are here.” The driver broke my train of thought. I looked up at the mirror at the man only to see him quickly lower his head. His expression seemed a little strange.

I covered my head with my hood and hid my hands in my sleeves as I shouldered my bag and got out of the car. It was still early, so there was no sea of blue blazers. Not blue pants or thigh-high blue skirts. No red bows or ties. The navy blue was really not my color, but it was better than the other clothes I had at the moment.

Before I closed the door, I turned to the driver and said: “Be here after school. I need to go shopping. My father wants me to buy new clothes. I hope you understand that if you are not here… Well, I am sure you heard what happened to Marget by now and the other things that occurred this morning.” I gave the driver a small smile before turning and leaving.

His name was Tom, and he was hired by Linda. Linda had ordered him to leave if I was even a second late. I have no idea how many times I have had to walk home. It was almost two hours on foot.

But I am sure this little warning will make him stay no matter how long I took. Or else he would be loosing his job. I caught a glimpse of fear in his eyes as I turned to leave.

All I know is that today is the day I show a new me. A me that will no longer take shit from anyone. A person who will right all the wrongs done to me and repay everything back ten fold. In a way I feel like one of those villainesses from a novel. It was kind of exciting.
