LYWTTA) A Whole New World

“Hmm?” Yuki finally was getting to take a good look at the sky and noticed faintly that there seemed to be floating landmass-like islands in the area where the moon would normally be. “Rize, what are those?”

“The immortal realm is not just one landmass. It is multiple land masses each owned by different powerful families. Some owning multiple islands. The one we are on is the lower and smallest of all the landmasses but at the same time the most populated due to the immortal shrines being here.”

“Immortal shrines? You meant the platform I was just on?” Yuki was still dumb to just about everything the immortal realm had to offer. She had only what little knowledge she had learned over the years.

“Yes. It is a shrine where new immortals who have risen from the mortal realm come. This also goes for many different races. There is no single race. There are even races that have come by other means. There is even word of races that have used magic to enter the immortal realm. But I have never met one personally. If they did, it would be on one of the other landmasses. But I have seen a few races that used technology to reach the immortal realm. But even then they are very few and mostly keep to themselves.

“For the most part the immortal realm at least this island consists of just cultivators. Like 99%.” Rize normally would not care to mention these other powers, but since it was Yuki, she felt the need to explain things since Yuki was a magic user as well as someone who came from a world of technology before being reborn.

“I see.” Yuki tapped her chin. She would really like to meet these people who came by means of technology and meet up with some of these magic users. But her main goal while here in the immortal realm was to find someone who could deal with souls and maybe break or at least seal the suction on Nana’s soul.

“Have you sensed any pull from that being on your pocket dimension?” Rize was curious to see if that being was powerful enough to even reach here in the immortal realm that was not part of its own territory.

“It’s faint but it’s still there. Its much weaker than in the immortal realm. I would say its around 0.1 percent.” Yuki gave a rough estimation. She was surprised to know that the connection was still not limited here. But then again, it could still steal Nana’s cultivation when she was on an entirely different planet.

“That’s not too bad but still enough to kill her in her current state.” Rize frowned. She did not like that one of her sisters was being tormented like this, but there was nothing they could do at this time.

“Yeah and it might be even worse if she did come out. It sucks but She will need to stay in the pocket dimension until we meet someone who can help with her soul.”

“We will need to go to he land of lost souls for that but you will need to be an immortal emperor before you can step foot there or your own soul will perish. For now just concentrate on your cultivation. I will help you enter the Golden Phoenix Academy. They have a very good environment there for cultivation. I am also a senior disciple there.”

“I owe you a lot Rize. You are basically setting me up good here in the immortal realm even though I haven’t done much for you in return.”

“A wife should help out her wife no?” Rize turned, leaned in, and kissed Yuki’s lips. “We are stuck together at the hip, so I will do my best to help you out. I am sure you will pass me quickly.”

“Hehe… I will then do my best to protect my sexy human.”

“Now that I think about it, all my sisters are mystic races. It’s kind of unfair. You all have tails or extra arms. Especially you.”

“So you are also after my fluff!”

“Your fluff is just a bonus! I don’t go sleeping with people just for their tails okay!”

“Haha!” Yuki hugged Rize’s arm. The two girls bantered as they walked slowly to the closest town called West Wind City. It was a large, busy city due to its closeness to the immortal shrine. Most immortals would stop there first before heading onwards. Or they would settle down, which caused the town to slowly expand into a city over the years.

West Wind City also had one of the few transfer gates that led to multiple cities around the floating landmass they were on, known as the Immortal Plains. It was this very transfer gate that allowed Rize to meet up with Yuki so quickly.

One of the main reasons anyone would want to settle down in this city, though, was it bordered two forests pm the east and west sides of the city. These forests were teeming with demonic beasts and many resources lower realm immortals needed to progress in their cultivation. It was a decent starting place for any new immortal who had arrived.
