ACFGTTM) Shushie (Sue)

In a wagon, Tomoya sat in the back with Linze in her lap and Elze sitting next to Yae, chatting away. Tae was sound asleep. Tomoya was once more going over a book filled with null magic spells since she found them quite interesting.

They had been making their way through a forest for some time, not when Tomoya’s ears twitched… “Hmmm.” She wrinkled her nose as she lifted Linze, set her aside, and stood up.

“Tomo?” Linze knew something was up just by how Tomoya was acting, but she did not know what it was.

“It seems there is a battle ahead. Yae, let’s hurry.” Tomoya gave out her orders, and Yae snapped the reins, causing the horses to move faster.

They quickly arrived at the scene of a fight between guards and lizardmen. “Yae, move the wagon away!”

“Got it!” Yae answered back.

Tomoya, Linze, and Elze all jumped out and rushed over to the guards and began killing lizardmen while Tae stayed in the back of the wagon still asleep. Of course, Tomoya knew this scene quite well. This was the place where they would meet Sushie for the first time.

Tomoya looked around before finally spotting the man in the black cloak in the forest. She did not even hesitate as she raised her hand and cast a wind spell. “Wind Cutter!”

Two blades of wind flew through the air chopping the man in two pieces. His head slipped off his neck, and his torso separated from his waist. It did not take long after that to take down the rest of the lizardmen.

“Leim! Leim is! Someone, please save Liem!” A young girl’s voice came from the carriage. The carriage was very luxurious, one could tell with a look that it was meant for someone with money. Of course, everyone here except for Tomoya and the guards knew who was in the carriage.

“Elze, Linze, help the guards. Save who can be saved. Yae, you look out for any more enemies. Yell if you see anyone. Make sure to protect Tae as well.” Tomoya knew there were no other enemies, but just by the fact that the original MC was not smart and left their backs open, she had to one up him by taking proper persecutions.

Tomoya watched as the girls did as she asked and smiled. She walked over to the carriage and opened the door to see a young girl with blonde hair hugging the old man lying on the bench seat of the carriage. He had blood pooling on his chest, which was near his heart and looked to be on his last leg.

“Please help…” Big droplets of tears fell from Shushie’s eyes as she looked up at Tomoya.

“I will save him now. He won’t die I promise.” Tomoya gently patted Shushie’s head before reaching out her hand. “Apport!”

The blood-covered arrow that had been lodged in the old man’s chest appeared in Tomoya’s hand. She tossed it aside and cast a healing spell. The wound on the old man’s chest quickly began to heal and, within seconds, had healed completely.

“I… I’m alive?” Liem sat up in confusion, only to be tackled by Shushie.

“Liem!” Shushie was very happy that Liem had survived.

It took a while for Shushie to calm down. When she did she let Liem rest while she gave her thanks to Tomoya and the others. “I am very grateful for your help. You not only saved me but also my guards and Liem. We owe you our thanks.”

“It’s fine. We just happened to be close by when I heard the fighting going on. You can sat fate brought us together.” Tomoya replied with a smile.

“Yes, Fate it truly is. My name is Shushie Erena Ortlinde. You can just call me Sue.” Shushie or Sue gave a bright smile. She was like an angel.

“Then Sue. My name is Tomoya, but you can call me Tomo. This here is Elze, Yae, and Linze.” Tomoya turned to introduce the three girls only to see them all burying their heads in the dirt, bowing. “You can ignore them. They seemed to like to kiss the ground.”

“Hehe! Please rise. There is no formal setting so please just treat me as you would a friend.” Sue was very laid back and would never make her saviors kneel before her. She owed them all her life.

“I just can’t believe how calm Tomo is. It’s kind of unfair.” Elze pursed her lips. She really did find it unfair how unfazed the fox girl was.

“Hmmm? But sue’s cute? So how could I bow me head? Then I wouldn’t be able to look at her.” Tomoya replied, not caring how her words sounded.

Sue blushed with a wide smile. She liked it when people complimented her! “Tomo was it? Can I ask for you and your friends to escort us to the capital?”

“No reason not to. But can you put a thing into the guild? This way we can get some extra points.”
