LYWTTA) Tribulation?

As the days passed, Yuki’s routine did not change much. Besides taking care of Nana, she would be reading the books she got from the Dean. With every book she read the deeper her understanding of space-time magic got. Within a flash, an entire year passed.

“With this, I will be a twentieth runic circle magi.” Yuki had twenty runic circles hovering behind her. This did not count her other attributes, which were all around fifteen runic circles. This was just her space-time runic circles. Because she had studied them in great detail she was able to surge past what was thought to be the limit of this world. She had thought a tenth runic circle master would have been enough, but she was wrong. To create a pocket dimension she could take with her she needed to have equivalent power compared to her own. And only by breaking the bonds of this world could she do that.

The twentieth runic circle began to take shape over her head, forming, this runic circle was much different from the others. It gave off an ancient aura, something that none had ever felt before.

Lilly and her father had come to watch history in the making. But when they felt the aura, they couldn’t help but take a few steps back. Because of Yuki’s training, Lilly’s father was now a tenth circle magi, while Lilly was now a seventh circle magi. Delia and the girls were now twelfth-circle magis. The reason they jumped ahead of the others was because of their qi magi training. It helped with understanding Yuki’s methods.

Nana benefited the most from this. She had been able to regain some of her youth. But not much. Her once black hair was now silver instead of grey. She looked to be in her early forties instead of being seventy.

Everyone watched as the purplish-black circle over Yuki’s head began to form. Runne after rune began to appear, taking up the entire circle except for one spot that kept flickering in and out. Until finally…

Boom!

An explosive wave of power swept through the area. The twenty runic circles began to spine in a circle. Starting from her first runic circle, they began to combine in order one after the other, merging together. As they merged, a strong power emanated from Yuki’s body, growing stronger and stronger. The power was so strong that everyone had to back off by almost a mile. They could only stand in the sky and watch what was happening below.

Dark clouds began to form overhead. When Yuki looked up, she couldn’t help but frown. “Why does this seem familiar?”

Crackle!

“Mr. Massin, can you please turn around.” Delia did not even let him answer as she forcefully turned the man around.

“What’s happening!?” Henry was confused. He wanted to see what was happening next, but the girls were not letting him!

Boom!

A massive bolt of lightning dropped from the sky, blanketing Yuki within it. Yuki did not dodge. In fact, she sat down and began taking the lighting into her body, trying to refine it. As she did, she raised an eyebrow since this lightning seemed to have different properties from normal heavenly lightning. “Very strange.”

Yuki grinned as she took more and more lightning in. This lightning was made of space-time element. She figured that anyone who reached the twentieth circle would end up with a different elemental tribulation lightning. If one had multiple elements, each with its own elemental circle, they would end up having to deal with this multiple times.

“But really, this lightning is something else. I wonder if I can use it for something.” Yuki began pondering while at the same time refining the lightning that hit her. Her clothes had long burnt off but her white jade skin did not even show any hint of being damaged. Yuki just sat there doing her best to refine as much space-time lightning as she could before it stopped falling.

Twenty minutes passed, and the dark clouds above slowly dissipated. Yuki stood up and stretched her body. Her fair skin glimmering under the sunlight. Lilly blushed and turned away. She now understood why her father was forced to turn around. Nana walked over and handed Yuki a set of robes. “Get dressed before Mr. Massin turns around.”

“Right.” Yuki nodded and put the robes on. She fluffed her hair before turning around and smiling. “Nana, I should be able to create the pocket dimension in the next day or so. I will be able to fill the entire thing with mana and spiritual qi. Along with an array that will help inject your body with spiritual qi at all times. I will also need to surround your soul with a kind of space-time barrier. It should, for the time being, cut off the transfer from that being. I am not sure how well this will work, but we can at least try it.”

“I will follow with whatever you want to do.” Nana reached out and held Yuki’s hand. She trusted Yuki with her life, so there was nothing to fear for her.

“Give me a few days to finalize everything, and we can begin.”
