“Ah~!” Chi let out a soft moan as the hot water surrounded her body. “I haven’t had a bath in so long!”

“It does feel amazing. To think it took us so long to get out of that forest.” Selene let out a long, relaxed sigh.

“The only downside is that we used a good deal of our spiritual qi to escape that stupid beast.” Silvia was not happy at all. Her webs were easily broken by that huge monster.

“All that matters is we came across some bandits and got some money. Now we can relax a few days before asking around about Yuki and the others.” Selene had been excited when a group of bandits suddenly came out of nowhere, talking about stripping them naked and selling them off after using them.

Little did they know that they would end up dead seconds later while only one got to live long enough to bring them to their hideout and show them where their treasure room was. The entire bandit den had been wiped out instantly.

Now, the three girls were in the best inn, soaking in a personal hot bath. They even both new clothes that fit this world so that they did not stand out too much. Their main goal at this time was trying to find Yuki. With Selene’s and Chi’s ability to sniff Yuki out, they could only hope to find the others quickly.

After a hot bath the girls got changed and sat on the large bed in the middle of the room. “How should we even start looking for Yuki?”

“Knowing Yuki she has probably already mastered this world’s Runic Magic. If we can just find word of a new talent or someone who is causing a lot of trouble, we should be able to find her. If we can just find the town or city she is in, we can sniff her out as well. We have plenty of gold thanks to those bandits being absurdly rich, so we just need to travel around.” Selene explained.

“But first, let’s get a good rest. We have been running for days.” Chi sprawled out on the bed, her tail twitching as she looked at the two girls. “Who wants to pretend to be Yuki?”

“I will!” Selene jumped on top of Chi, the poor fox girl never stood a chance after the wolf girl dug in. But this was the only way they could keep calm in this situation where they were separated from the one they loved. Little did Chi know that Selene and Silvia were picturing her as Yuki since she was from the same clan and resembled Yuki a little. “Why are you even asking it as a question? How would I know what happened if I do not even know what the hell you are talking about. Spit it out already. What happened!?” The man was exasperated. His friend was asking if he knew what happened but he didn’t state what it was about! It was as if he was asking him to ask what had happened.

“Fine. The Dean of White Stone Academy’s granddaughter went missing. But there are witnesses saying she walked up the mountain.” The man replied.

“You mean… she went to the Korli? They only take girls who sell themselves or are given as payment to have someone killed!” The man’s eyes widened. “Who the hell could a young girl like that want killed? Isn’t she a bit too vicious for her age? How did the Dean bring her up?”
