ACFGTTM) Gotta Catch Them All Part 1

“Fashion King Zanac….” Tomoya read the sign out loud while Tae clung to her. Tae seemed to still be coming to terms with the fact that she had been reborn in another world. This was understandable, though. Since she had been living on earth prior, died, and had her entire being rewritten thanks to Tomoya, it was not strange for her to still be wary of her surroundings.

“Welcome to my shop!” Zanac said with a bright smile. He then ushered the two girls in before telling the staff to get them new clothes. In no time at all, Tomoya and Tae had been given new clothes.

Tomoya now had a pair of black shorts and a white t-shirt on. Tae wore a black skirt with a black vest and a white undershirt. With black shoes to match they were ready to go to fit into this new world. “Here you go. Thirty gold. Please let me know if you find any new designs.” They got a total of thirty gold for the clothes, which was very good for selling a pair of old clothing.

“Thanks, I will… Or right… Can you tell me where I can find an inn?” Tomoya asked, even though she knew where she needed to go.

“Yes, the Silver Moon Inn. You will find it right down the street here.” Zanac answered, and with that, the two girls said their goodbyes and headed to the Inn.

Now, Tomoya did not know if this was the novel version of the world or the anime version of the world. In the novel the MC had already gone to the inn and gotten a room after making a fool of himself. But in the anime he met the first two waifus on the way to the inn. Tomoya kind of wanted it to be the novel version since she was more familiar with that story. In fact she had the entire series on her bookshelf in past life.

As they walked down the street with Tae hugging Tomoya’s arm, they passed many allies, but no arguments could be heard. By the time they reached the inn, Tomoya was sure that this was the novel version of the world and not the anime version.

“You staying or eating?” Mika, the red-headed innkeeper of the Silver Moon Inn, greeted them with a smile.

“We will be staying. Let’s do a single room for a month.” Tomoya did not plan to put Tae in her own room since she knew the girl would be unable to sleep if she did, and then she wouldn’t be able to play with her new to… new waifu.

Mika looked at the two girls with a raised eyebrow before smiling and taking the gold coin that Tomoya was handing over. “Here’s the key. Dinner will be at sixth bell.”

“Got it.” Tomoya smiled at Mika before taking Tae’s hand and walking towards the stairs. She planned to make Mika hers as well at some point. She had plenty of time since she knew this girl would be single for a long time.

Tomoya took Tae to the room to settle the girl in. “Tae, stay here and rest. You need to catch your bearings a bit. I will go check out the town a bit.”

“You are going to leave me alone..?” Tae asked in a low, shaky voice.

“Yes. And you will need to slowly get used to things here. Don’t worry, I will be sure to come back. I do not plan on leaving my cute little Tae alone.” Tomoya’s words made Tae blush as she meekly nodded her head. She did not like it, but she would always listen to Tomoya. According to her memories, she and Tomoya were very close to the point that they would always sleep together, even bathe together, but they had yet to do anything special since it was frowned upon in Japan. Tae had always held feelings for Tomoya. Now that they were in a new world, the idea of her and Tomoya getting together for real did dawn on her, but she was still scared about her current situation. She had many thoughts she needed to work out. And she knew Tomoya was giving her that chance to work through her own insecurities since Tomoya herself could not help her with them.

“I will be here waiting.” Tae gave a small nod while letting out a breath she had been holding in.

Tomoya smiled as she gave Tae a pat on the head calming the girl down before leaving the room, making sure it was locked behind her. She left the inn and made her way down the street. She had only walked for five minutes when she heard someone yelling out: “That is not what we discussed!”

Tomoya’s eyes lit up as she rushed over to the alley and peeked down it. Standing there in the flesh were the Silhoueska twins, along with two run-of-the-mill thugs who were trying to swindle the two girls. A grin formed on Tomoya’s lips as she softly spoke: “Time to catch some waifus!”

She stepped into the ally with a pebble in her hand as she said: “Excuse me!”
