LYWTTA) No Time

When Mrs. Smith’s class ended, she gave one long glance towards Yuki before hurriedly leaving the class. Her image had been completely ruined in front of her students. But it was also an experience she would remember. Something that she would have many dreams about in the coming days, all of which would consist of Yuki appearing in some shape or form, and although she tries to ‘resist’, Yuki will always bring her to heaven once again.

“Ah-choo!” Yuki rubbed her nose. She was a cultivator, so there was no way she could get sick, so this was a sign that someone was thinking dirty things about her.

“You okay?” Lilly asked.

“Yeah. Let’s go. I want to eat before the next class.”

The end of the day came, and Yuki, who had suffered the entire day, finally found a sense of relief now that she could go to the library. She felt the classes were quite boring. They taught a system that seemed quite broken and forced people down a path that was not very good. Not to mention all the math classes. Her head hurt just thinking about it.

But now she could begin her research on time and space magic. She just needed to grasp the most basic runic circle and start from there. As long as she could begin to understand how to use time and space magic she felt she could finally create a mystic realm that was powered by mana. One that she could easily enter and leave at will. Her own personal pocket dimension.

She could even bring Chi and her mother along with her with such a space. This was her current goal, and if achieved, she would have the ability to keep Nana stable. She had to protect the people she loved. This meant working as hard as she could in order to do so.

“Let’s head to the library.” Yuki stretched her arms and stepped out of the classroom with Lilly, only to find a group of girls and boys standing in the hall. One of which was quite beautiful. She had a small smirk on her face as she walked over to Yuki, stopping in front of her.

“So you are the newcomer?” The girl’s auburn hair swayed as she adjusted her stance and crossed her arms across her chest. “You are very pretty. Welcome to White Stone Magi Academy. My name is Clair Benson. My grandfather is the Dean of the academy.”

Claire stretched her hand out in a friendly manner but Yuki could tell she was planning something; as such, she looked at the hand, ignored it, and took Lilly’s hand instead as she said: “Let’s go.”

“You! You dare to ignore Miss Benson’s goodwill!?” A young man yelled out. He was one of Claire’s suitors. His name was Ricky Jackson. His short blonde hair and sky-blue eyes, along with his handsome looks, made him one of the princes of the academy. In other words, he was the most popular boy in school. And even he was looked down upon by Claire.

Yuki turned to look at the young man and snorted. “Someone will ill intentions is not someone with good will. I do not know what Miss Benson’s thoughts are coming here and trying to shake my hand that has a spell imbued on it, but I can say this now… I am not so stupid to fall for such petty tricks. If you want to come at me, do so openly, but be ready to die in the process. The same goes for all of you lackeys as well. This world is so peaceful that things like this are just pranks made by children where I come from.”

Yuki’s aura of bloodlust made the young men’s and women’s faces pale. She did not even hit them with one percent of her bloodlust, and they were already shaking in their knees. Yuki sighed as she turned and walked away. She wanted nothing to do with these people.

Claire, who was no exception to being scared just now, face turned bright red from both anger and embarrassment. She was the Dean’s granddaughter, and she was being looked down upon! How could she let such a transgression go? She would make Yuki pay for the humiliation she had just received. Her eyes narrowed as she stared at Yuki’s retreating back. She had planned to inject Yuki with a spell that would cause Yuki to lose control of her bowels. Then, no one would think of her as the Academy’s goddess. But now… She shook her hand, dispersing the spell. She would need to be a little more extreme when dealing with this girl.

Halfway down the hall, Lilly tugged on Yuki’s hand that was holding hers and asked: “Was that okay? I heard she is very petty.”

“So what? Let her come. Let them all come. If they wish to have a short life I do not mind granting their wish. I am not here to play around. I have no ambition to what ever academy goddess position or anything of the like. All I want is to use the library to learn space-time magic, and that is it.”
