LYWTTA) Plan Going Forward

“Nana, lie down. I will do a full check on your body.” Yuki had Nana strip. She wanted to find any signs of anything that might be the cause of Nana’s current situation. She had to figure out why Nana’s spiritual qi kept getting taken. Once she figured that out, she might be able to find a way to slow the consumption or cure it completely.

Nana did as she was told. Her now skinny body was all skin and bones. The wrinkled skin due to rapid aging made Yuki’s heart clench. Delia who was at the side gripped her fist so tight that the white of her knuckles was showing.

“Rize, you said you checked her body already. Did you find anything?” Delia asked. She was for once night fighting with Rize.

 “No. I found nothing. I probed her body, but I did not dare to go too deep. There are times when probing too much will pick up on something the person does not wish for you to notice.” Rize had checked what she could but without Nana’s full consent, she did not go past what was considered an okay limit.

Yuki was different Nana would never hide anything from Yuki, so Yuki was currently spreading her divine sense throughout Nana’s entire body. Her qui was also spreading out as well. She was trying to find the suction point, and the best way to do it was to use her own spiritual qi. But what she found strange was that once she began injecting her qi and spreading it, there was no suction to be found.

The more Yuki searched, the more she frowned. From her dantian to the top of her head all the way to the tips of her toes, there was nothing. This meant there was only one place left, and she could not check it as she was now. “Delia, Rize, do either of you have a way to check a person’s soul?”

“No. Nana would need to check it herself. But her current cultivation does not allow for it. There are methods in the immortal realm but here there is none.” Delia answered. There were certain cultivators that concentrated on soul techniques but they were also very rare.

“Then I guess we have no choice but to wait until I am powerful enough to reach the immortal realm to search for someone who can check Nana’s soul.” Yuki knew there were soul-searching techniques but they were very dangerous and could cause the person whose soul was being searched to end up with brain damage.

“I’m sorry, Yuki.” Delia did not know what else to say in this situation. She had no means of helping at this time.

“It’s not your fault. If I am right, the source of Nana’s issue is hidden within her soul. Once we are able to find the source, we can begin to figure out a way to heal her. So, for now, we can only try to stabilize her condition by having her learn about runic circles. If we have another source of power within her to keep her afloat then she will be able to move around freely without the need of spiritual qi.” Yuki looked at Nana and gently rubbed the top of her head. “You can get dressed. We will have a long few days ahead of us. You will need to learn about runic circles, and I will need to dive deeper into the use of space and time magic.”

“You really plan to make your own space?” Rize asked. It was something many cultivators did do, but they normally would only do so when they were about to die to leave an inheritance. This was because it used up a great deal amount of life force just to make one.

“It’s only a matter of understanding how space-time works. If I merge it with the method of creating a mystic realm, I could allow time to slow, which will make things easier on Nana, and it will not take up any life force to create. Mana could be used to supplement the life force and will also fill the mystic realm with mana to keep Nana stabilized. At least, these are my thoughts. Whether they will work or not is up to whether or not I can truly merge the two into one.” Yuki really was unsure if this would work. She could only hope it would.

“With how you were able to create magi qi, I see no reason for this not to work.” Rize knew Yuki was a person who could make the impossible possible, just like how she was able to create magi qi.

“I know Yuki can do it.” Delia nodded her head. Nothing was impossible for Yuki!

Nana lowered her head and did her best to hold back her tears. Yuki was trying to do anything and everything to help her. She felt as if she had used up ten million life times worth of luck.
