“That’s Maria’s personal maid, Clara. She went missing three months ago!” Lilly suddenly shouts. “She even blamed me for it, saying that I took her maid and killed her.”

“Hmmm… I do not think the girl knew about this, in fact, I do not think most of the family knew about this except that old man.” Yuki frowned slightly. “When he first arrived at the house I did smell the scent of blood on him. I just did not think it would be something like this. Lilly, is there a kind of blood magic in this world?”

“Blood magic? Yes, but it is deemed taboo. No one would dare to learn it. If they did, they would be chased to the ends of the world,” Lilly replies. Blood magic was considered evil because it used the blood of others to cast its spells. This meant they would need a blood bank, as it was called, to cast any spells. This runic type of magic-infused your runic circle into another person and allowed you to control the will of that person.

Yuki went forward and sent a strand of spiritual qi into the girl who looked no more older than Lilly and frowned again. “Lilly, are maids allowed to have personal relationships?”

“No, maids of any house are taught during training that they can not have relationships with anyone unless they wish to lose their jobs. This is to keep the secrecy of the house intact. Personal maids would be put to death if they did. The only time it would be allowed is if they were forced by the masters of the house. But even then, this is uncommon since it would be seen as dirty.” Lilly did not understand why Yuki was asking this, but she still answered.

“Then this girl either had relations before entering the house or did so without anyone knowing. Or worse, before she died, she was forced, and from the bruises on her neck, wrists, and ankles, my guess is she was forced.” Yuki hated this kind of thing, but it was something that happened on all worlds.

Lilly showed a fear-filled look as she hugged herself. She could not even imagine such a thing. To die like that was just…. “Lilly, go wait outside.”

“Okay.” Lilly, with her arms still wrapped around herself, left the room, leaving only Yuki and Delia inside the hidden room.

“Each one of these is a girl around the same age. The maids of this house were basically stock for the old man. They all have the same markings and I bet all these skulls and bones are the same. Just how many people did the old man kill over the years? Why would not one even realize this was happening?” Yuki really wondered what kind of family the Randles were. Did only the old man know about this, or did his son know as well?

 “What should we do with the bodies?” Delia asked.

“Let’s get them out of here. We will burn them and send them off properly. I will need to ask Henry if he knows where that bastard went. If he does, we should kill him before he harms more girls.” Yuki normally would not care about these things, but when it was something like this, she would not let it slide. Man or woman, no matter the sex, if they did this to someone, they deserved death.

“I knew you would say that.” Delia smiled before going forward and picking up one of the dried-out husks of a corpse. Yuki followed and did the same. They spent the next few hours clearing the entire hidden room out before setting them aflame in the backyard. Both Yuki and Delia, lowered their heads to say a small prayer for the people who had died unjustly.

Lilly also stood at the side, watching the flames. They did not have much of a custom of sending off strangers, so she only stood there staring as the flames danced in front of her eyes. She wondered what she would have done in their situation and how she would have dealt with things. She wondered if she would have killed herself the instant she knew she could not escape.

“Lilly, ask your father to find out where the hell that old man went. He and whoever else was involved in this incident will need to be killed with our mercy.” Yuki wondered just how the old man would react if he knew that she would be showing up on his doorstep in the near future. She could picture the fear in his eyes as she shoved a pole up his ass and out through his mouth.

“I will go tell him now!” Lilly quickly turned on her heel and went back into the house. She did not need to leave the house since they had magi phones. This meant she only needed to make a quick call.
