ACFGTTM) A Pet?

Now, back in the Humvee, Tomoya was sitting with Rory in her lap. The gothloli was sitting sideways, staring up at Tomoya the entire time with a small smile on her face. Mari and Shino were still satisfied with grooming Tomoya’s tails, so they were not bothered by this arrangement. Only Lelei was a little out of sorts as she sat across from them, staring at the four girls. She did not know why, but she found it a little annoying that Tomoya was being hogged by the other girls. To relieve her stress, she was busy poking Tuka in the cheek, who was now resting her head on Lelei’s knee.

“Hey… When will you tell me more?” Rory pulled on Tomoya’s sleeve. She was finding this fox girl more charming by the second. She was completely unaware of the charm effect that came from Tomoya’s stats.

“When we get to a safe place. For now…” Tomoya picked Rory up, stood up, and placed her down before opening the top hatch. “I need to go take care of our fire-breathing friend.”

With a tap of her foot, Tomoya jumped out through the hatch and up into the air. She stood there looking around for a second before finally spotting the lizard king flapping its wings. “Yo!” Tomoya put herself in front of the dragon and smiled at it while waving.

“Rawr!” the dragon did not like the fact that some insignificant being had suddenly appeared in front of it. But when it realized that it was still up in the air and so was this puny humanoid being it suddenly felt something was off. It’s gut feeling, the instinctual feeling all living creatures have that warns it that it should be afraid and to run away, came too late as it felt a sharp pain in the side of its head and then the ground coming into view at an incredible speed.

Boom!

Tomoya was frowning as she dug her ear. She looked down at the dragon that had just been slapped to the ground below and yelled: “Why are you roaring in people’s ears? I was standing right in front of you. Now look what you made me do!”

Tomoya dropped to the ground, landing on top of the dragon. “Look, now your head’s stuck in the ground.”

Tomoya sighed as she grabbed one of the wings and jumped into the air once again, pulling the dragon from the crater it had formed before tossing it back down onto the ground. “Now then, Mr. Lizard.”

For some reason, when Tomoya called out to it, the dragon obediently knelt down and lowered its head. Tomoya nodded in approval. “See, if you were this obedient the first time, you wouldn’t have been slapped. You should understand who is in charge here. Now, I will give you two choices. I can rip your wings off and send you on the way, or you can become my pet. Pick. If you want to become my pet, then hold up one claw. If you want me to rip your wings off and send you on your way hold up two claws.”

The fire dragon was not stupid. Dragons were very smart and understood many things so even if it was not an elder dragon it was still able to understand what Tomoya was saying and quickly held up a single claw. It was much better than having its wings ripped off.

“Good! Now I will send you to a place. You will go and meet a few people who will make sure you stay in line. Your job is to be a good poochie, okay? If they see you roll over, you roll over. If they say play dead, you play dead. Got it?” Tomoya asked, and the dragon nodded its head. Tomoya smiled and waved her hand, opening a portal to Eden. From that day forth Eden would have a new mascot.

Tomoya dusted her hands off before turning around to find Roary kneeling behind her with a smile on her face. “Interesting… Hey, where does that portal go?”

“To a place only those who will be joining me on my adventures in the future can go. So if you want to check it out, you can, but you will need to become my wife.” Tomoya replied honestly. With Rory, honesty was the best method since she was a very upfront type of girl.

“Oh? I will need to think about it.” Rory’s eyes flashed with interest. It was at times like these that Tomoya wished her system still had the relationship meter.

“Then I will be waiting.” Tomoya made her interest known. But it seemed Rory’s interest became much more since she hooked her arm with Tomoya’s as they walked back to the Humvee.

“To think you could beat up a dragon with so little effort.” Itami had seen everything. He couldn’t help but be in awe of Tomoya’s strength. She was a strange girl who did things at her own pace but when it came down to it, she was very powerful. And to top it all off, she was very beautiful. It was these kinds of thoughts that made Itami have to keep telling himself that the fox girl used to be a man.
