A week passed and Yuki and Delia were still taking in all they could from the new world they had been tossed into. It was on this day that the Massin family had a visitor. “Yuki, Delia, can you come with me!?”

“What’s wrong Lilly?” Yuki was confused by the urgency on Lilly’s face. She looked as if the world was coming to an end.

 “The Ancestor of the Randle family has come,” Lilly replied.

“Alright take us there.” Yuki understood that this was her fault so she would not let the Massins take the fall. After all, Lilly and her father had been very good to her.

As Yuki and Delia followed Lilly to the front hall, Henry sat in his chair, looking at the old man in front of him. The old man held an air of arrogance and seemed quite powerful. Henry could tell the old man had actually reached the sixth circle already. This made Henry feel quite alarmed.

“Henry, I want to know what happened to my granddaughter. She was a rising star and she had gone missing for many days. My investigation has shown me that your daughter was on the same mission as my granddaughter. The two always seemed to see each other as rivals so tell me, why did your daughter return but my granddaughter did not?” The old man’s gaze held a slight pressure to it making Henry feel as though the old man was out for blood.

 “What does your granddaughter going missing have to do with my Lilly? Even if she was on the same mission, my daughter would never do anything to your granddaughter. If you have time to come here and brother me why are you not using it to search for your granddaughter?” Henry asked. He had to hold strong since this was something that could cause a war between the two families.

“Because the two always fight and hate each other. Would not a mission such as the one they were on not be the perfect chance for your daughter to dispose of her rival? I knew from the day she was born that she was an evil little bitch.” The old man replied not hiding his intentions. “I will tell you this now, hand over your daughter or I will destroy your family here and now.”

“You have no evidence and want to kill my daughter? You will need to walk over my dead body!” Henry shouted as he stood up.

 “Father! You need to think about what is best for the family. If Lilly did do such a thing, you should just hand her over.” Ricky saw this as a chance to kill the bitch. Then he would regain his status as heir to the family!

“Ricky shut up!” Henry was so angry he wanted to kill this stupid son of his. But he held back since internal strife was not something they needed at this moment.

“Heh. Even your son is smarter than you. Now, hand over the girl, or I will flatten this entire place.” The old man shouted as six brown rings inside him began to spin. The old man specialized in earth magic.

“Old man, I would stop what you are doing now before I have to make a move.” A voice came from the entrance of the room. Yuki and Delia slowly walked out of the room and looked at the old man. “Your family is lucky I haven’t gone over to ask for compensation never mind you coming here to ask for a girl.”

“Compensation? What are you talking about?” The old man looked at Yuki and Delia walking out with such calm expressions that he felt something was off, but when he saw that they were only at the first circle, he relaxed a little. But even though he relaxed he still kept his guard up. His long life had long taught him to always be on guard.

 “Well, your daughter wanted to kill me. She was attacking Lilly here when I stumbled upon them in the woods. Lilly was about to die, but because I appeared, your granddaughter turned towards me and wanted to get rid of me for being a witness to her crime. In the end, I killed her because she wanted me dead.” Yuki replied as if she was telling a bedtime story. “You should have disciplined your granddaughter better. She was someone who would not be able to live long anyway since she would piss off the wrong person. And guess what? She did.”

Yuki never planned to tell the truth, but since the old man was determined to make Lilly take the fall, and so was Lilly’s brother, she decided to tell everything upfront. Yuki let out a sigh as she shrugged. “I had planned to just leave things as be. I even chopped her body up into mash for the monsters and animals to feed off of so her life wouldn’t go to waste. At least her last good deed was feeding the hungry animals of the forest.”

“You! You dared to kill my granddaughter!? Real good! Today, the Massin family will no longer exsiOoph!” The old man was sent flying by a small, delicate-looking fist. Yuki had appeared in front of him and smashed her fist into his face.

“You talk too much.”
