LYWTTA) Different Situations

“Ah… Sorry.” Yuki released her pressure and gave Henry an apologetic look before bowing her head and saying: “I overstepped. I apologize.”

“By no means. He deserved it. I am sorry you had to see such a display when you are guests.” Henry felt quite embarrassed.

While Yuki and Delia retired for the night in another location far away, Chi, Selene, and Silvia were sitting around a small campfire inside a small cave cut into the snowy mountaintop. “Do you think the others are okay?”

“You should have more faith in Yuki, Chi.” Although Chi has asked this question many times now, Selene Still answered without thinking it was annoying. She was also worried about the others, but she could not say it out loud since she did not want to worry Chi and Silvia.

“I know I keep asking, but I do not know what else to ask. The silence is getting to me.” Chi was stuck with two girls who did not speak much unless spoken to. Silvia was so quiet that half the time, you would not even realize she was there. Chi had always been an out going girl, so to be stuck with two people who barely spoke was killing her.

“Sorry, you are right. We should be more vocal.” Selene felt slightly bad. It was true that they had not been talking much this entire time.

“I want to see Nana and Yuki…” Silvia just seemed to be in a gloomy mood.

“We will eventually meet up. Knowing Yuki, she probably already made friends with some rich people and is already searching for us.” Selene realized she had to be the one in command here. Chi was depressed, and Silvia looked like she was ready to kill herself if she did not get her Yuki fix soon. “Once this storm passes, we can head down the mountain and hope to find a settlement. Just remember to keep your qi consumption to a minimum.”

The three girls looked out towards the blanket of snow blocking their view over the horizon and felt even more depressed than before. The spiritual qi in the air was too thin, so they could not cultivate, and the snow was keeping them from leaving the cave. They had no food, no entertainment except for themselves. While they could have a threesome, the mood was just not right for it.

In another area far to the south, on a deserted island, Rize sat under a makeshift structure looking at Nana. Her body seemed to have aged by many years. Her long black hair had gone grey, and she was showing signs of wrinkles. Her cultivation even dropped down to the fate star realm.

“It’s been a day and you still have not awakened….” Rize did not know what to do. She was afraid to move Nana any more since right now her body seemed fragile. Nana was Yuki’s world. She knew how much Yuki loved Nana and she worried that if Nana died Yuki would go insane. This was why she was keeping a very close eye on the dragon girl.

“If she degrades any further I will need to freeze her until we find a way to restore her back to normal.” What Rize meant by freeze was a special technique of the immortal realm that allowed a person to seal another person in their current state. So, say your friend or lover was dying and had no way to get them help right away. You could seal their bodily functions and life force for ten years. But the problem was that this seal could only be used once. While for cultivators, this was not a long time, the upside was that once sealed, they became an object and could be stored in a spatial ring.

The strange thing about this seal was that even though a spatial ring could freeze items in the state they were in when put inside, the seal would still come undone no matter what. This was because both worked on the same principles of time and space.

Rize could only sigh as she looked up at the sky. There was not a single cloud to be seen, and the sun was beating down harshly, but the ocean breeze was enough to make her hair flutter. “I will have to decide what to do by tomorrow.” Rize’s main concern right now was the lack of spiritual qi in the air. There was another power she was familiar with, but she had no idea how to use it. Only those who did not come from cultivation worlds knew how to use this power. But those people normally kept to themselves.

But even with the thin spiritual qi in the air, Rize knew she would probably need to try to find actual land that is inhabited. Otherwise, no one would be able to find them. “Screw it, I will check which direction land is in tomorrow and then go from there.”
