“I see nothing, I felt nothing, I did nothing….” Rose seemed to be having some kind of identity crisis. At some point through the night, she had come to realize that she had been playing with herself while watching the antics on the bed. She felt so ashamed she wanted to kill herself, but at the same time, she did not want to die, so she could only try her best to erase it all from her memory.

Shizuku woke up and saw Rose acting weird and got out of bed, stretching her arms. “Rose, what’s wrong?”

Rose stopped her strange chant and looked up at Shizuku, who was completely naked and blushed from ear to ear. “Put some clothes on!”

“Ah… hahaha. I forgot. Wait… were you in the room the entire night?” Shizuku was a bit confused. She could have sworn she got Rose her own room.

“At this point, Rose couldn’t help but tear up. She had been sullied! No one would marry her now!” She glared at Shizuku before lowering her head. It did not take a genius to know that this was a yes.

Now, Shizuku felt quite bad. She had allowed her lust to take over and had completely forgotten about Rose. She scratched her head and let out a sigh. “If it comes to that, I will take responsibility.”

Shizuku had no idea about the customs of other races, so she did not wish to leave the girl on the lurch. Since Rose said things in this manner, she would offer to take responsibility for what happened. After all, it seemed to be her fault.

Rose raised her head and looked at Shizuku for a moment before quickly lowering it again. She still could not get the scenes from last night out of her head. But she still forced out: “We will see…” While she was quite reliant on Shizuku at this time, she could not see her as a love interest, not that she knew what real love was. But it did make her happy to know that Shizuku was being upfront with her and not treating her badly.

“Let me know then.” Shizuku did not mind. She had already started to become numb at having multiple girls. What were a few more?

Shizuku spent the next few weeks walking back and forth between the library and the inn. She was trying to absorb as much knowledge as she could. Only when she felt like she was truly ready to leave Freesdale did she finally stop.

This entire time, though, a certain someone had been following her all over the place. “Rose, let’s stop at the stall over there and sit while we eat.”

“Okay.” Rose nodded. She did not know why but ever since coming in contact with Shizuku, she had been unable to move away from her. She felt if Shizuku went out, she would disappear, and for some reason, that did not sit well with her.

While she had begun taking on requests as an adventurer, and Rose was able to make money for herself, she still felt the need to stay by Shizuku’s side. It was as if she had some kind of aura that surrounded her that drew her in. She found herself wanting to get to know Shizuku more and more. And the more she knew, the more she was drawn to her. It was truly a strange feeling.

The two girls sat down at one of the tables at a street stall. The very street stall they had first met at a few weeks ago. Shizuku ordered some meat skewers before turning her attention to Rose. “I will be leaving this place in the next few days. What are your plans?”

“My plans?” Rose was a little confused. What were her plans? She only knew Shizuku. She had been stubbornly sticking to her as well. She could not return home, nor did she have a place now that she could call home.

“Yes, do you want to follow me, or do you want to continue working as an adventurer? I plan to go to the capital and begin dungeon diving there. They have a few dungeons that I can level up in. If you wish to stick with me, you can, or if you wish to go your own way, you can do that as well. I wanted to talk to you about this alone so that you can make a decision yourself.” Shizuku had no idea what Rose’s thoughts were. She was normally very quiet and silently followed behind her all the time. She did not know what was going on through this girl’s head.

“I…. I don’t know.” Rose really did not know. She had not even thought about it until now. What exactly did she want to do with her life?

Shizuku smiled. She turned to the stall owner, who had come over and took the meat skewers. Ten in total. She split them up and placed nine in front of Rose. “If you want, you can follow me until you decide what you wish to do. Being alone and on your own is not good. At least with me and the others around, if something happens, you will have someone there to support you. We have become friends after all.”
