“Huh?” Yuki looked at the girl and snorted. She never let off those who tried to kill her. “If I chop her up into mash, no one will notice the difference!”

“No!” Maria’s face paled as she watched the sword slice down, her head flying through the air.

Lilly was forced to watch a very gory scene. Yuki really did as she said and began hacking Maria’s body to pieces. Luckily, Yuki was quick, and although each of her slashes looked as if she had stabbed out, but were actually several hundred slashes each.

“There. Now, beasts will come and eat the remains, and it will look as if she had been munched on by a powerful beast. If anyone asks, you can just say you know nothing.” Yuki flicked her sword to get the blood off before sheathing it. She then looked at Lilly and, with an evil grin, said: “Now then. Kindly tell me about this circle thing.”

Lilly was already scared out of her wits. She had never seen someone so strong before. She could only throw back the disgust from the sight before to the back of her mind as she began answering Yuki’s questions.

As Yuki had guessed, this world was indeed a magic world. The technology was also very advanced, even more advanced than Earth’s. Their magic was nothing like her magi qi. Their magic was closer, resembling the cultivation system of her world. They had a path system. People would form runic circles inside them and their path was decided based on the comprehension they gained from the grimories.

Grimories were created by the ancients and has been the system of magic used for hundreds of thousands of years. But unlike other magic where you pictured things. Everything was done more on a mathmatical basis. One needed a good understanding of math in order to create the runic circle in their body. First circle through fifth circle was easier to handle.

Bu t after that one will need a deep understanding of things from physics to astrophysics. A tenth circle would need an understanding of universal physics. The programs created through the mathmatical calculations will birth a circle inside the magi making them able to cast magic at will.

“Hmm… quite interesting. Very interesting indeed. Do you have any of the first circle manuals? I would like to learn this Runic Path.” Yuki’s eyes glowed a bit. If she could learn how to use runic circles and combine them with her magi qi, couldn’t she create an even stronger power? Two powers as one, just like when she combined spiritual qi and demonic qi.

“Not-Not on me. We would need to head back to the city, but it will take a few days.” Lilly wanted to cry. Now, this powerful girl was going to follow her home, wasn’t she? She took a deep breath and decided to look at it from another angle. If someone dared to make a fuss about Maria’s death, this girl could also get rid of any issues, making it hard for anyone to target them. She had to hold on to this golden thigh for a while, at least until things died down! Although she did find it funny that this girl did not seem to know anything about this world.

“Alright, then let’s head home. On the way, you can explain things about this place.” Yuki was very happy that this girl was so willing to help. She hoped that she could learn many things from all of this. “Also, since you have a somewhat powerful background can you search for information about others wearing the same kinds of clothing I am?”

“That should not be a problem? You got separated from your friends?” Lilly was very curious as to where Yuki came from. She could not sense any mana from their body.

Mana was what allowed beings of this world to live long-lasting lives. It was even said that if one were to reach the mythical eleventh Circle, they could even break into the heavens above. This world had no idea what immortality was. They only knew that by expanding one’s mana pool, they could live longer, and only by gaining enlightenment through grasping an understanding of their path could they expand their mana pool more.

“Yuki, are we really following this girl?” Delia asked in a low whisper.

“Yes, she is our ticket to doing many things we can not do on our own at this time. We must find both Selene and Silvia and Nana and Rize. My wives are my life. If they so much as get a split end on their hair, I will destroy every city on this world in return, even if I have to use up all my qi to do so.” Yuki was over exaggerating a little, but she was willing to destroy the city where her wives got hurt in and any place related to it. She already had a history of destroying sects.

“Mmm… I also agree. Those are my sisters and I do not wish for my sisters to be harmed in any way. This world does not restrict my powers so I can easily destroy a country or two.” Delia had her fully powers back for the time being but she knew not to use them recklessly. The spiritual qi was too thin.
