IGSAGCSAWAYSH) The History Of The Vampires Part 2

Shizuku leaned back and let out a long sigh. “To think that vampires had such a start.”

Shizuku continued to read. But the next paragraph started two hundred years later when Eulise reappeared. Eulise had formed a massive army. She had found that she was able to turn those who she drank blood from into her own people. Because she knew how important ranks were in judging abilities, she began assigning different ranks to each new vampire. She used her blood magic to manipulate how they could rise in rank. This created the Vampire ranking system seen today.

The ones kind and loving girl, no longer made any expressions. She did not hate. She did not love. Her goal at the time was to kill those who killed her mother. A great war ensued between Her and the church. In the end, the church submitted but only on the terms that it would last ten thousand years.

A time of peace prevailed across the land. Slavery had been snuffed out, and all races lived in harmony. This period of time was known as the Great Grace Era. It was also at this time that Dracluna was formed. “To think that peace reigned for years…”

But all good things came to an end. Powerful figures began to appear within some of the races that could fight against the Vampires. War broke up, consuming the entire world. This war lasted for tens of thousands of years. No side was willing to give. It was at this point that some races had begun being called Fallen by the church. Vampires were still not included as Fallen at this time.

But all that changed after the calamity. Eulise disappeared once more. The church quickly found this out and designated vampires also as Fallen. “So that is the real reason the church suddenly decided to make vampires hated. Since they no longer had anything to fear from Eulise, they decided to push them aside, but at the same time, Vampires are not easy to kill, so they probably decided to just set them aside and make them a barrier between the supposedly good side and the other races. Kind of makes me want to step on them even more now.”

“Fugu… Meat…” The red-headed girl was sound asleep, mumbling to herself.

Shizuku smiled as she moved to the next book, which discussed the powers of vampires. “Let’s see… Vampires have a larger variety of magic.”

Vampires from low to high were all proficient in at least one type of magic. From fire magic to even holy magic. There was only one vampire who had the ability to control blood, which was known as blood magic, and that was the Mother of all vampires, Eulise herself. Shizuku read the short book from cover to cover before putting it down. She did not understand how only one vampire had the ability to control blood. She, too, could control blood. Was this because Goddess Yunni wanted her to follow in Eulise’s footsteps? But why was she being forced to walk the path of a demon lord?

Shizuku did not know what to make of this. If Goddess Yunni wanted Shizuku to be the second coming of Eulise, it was understandable but why would she also push the demon lord aspect on her as well? Shizuku shook her head. There were too many questions and no answers.

“I will just take a peek at this first.” Shizuku opened the book on summoning magic. She had the ability to summon monsters and demons. But she had no idea what would happen if she summoned them. Would they be faithful to her or not? She did not wish to risk harming those around her, so she had not actually used either of these skills yet.

Summon magic had many different types, from summoning monsters and contract summoning to even summoning angels. Each type had its own set of rules. Summoning monsters only took up a lot of mana to keep the monster summoned into the world. Once your mana runs out, the summon will disappear, returning it from where it once came.

Contract summon meant you had to give up something in return to form a contract with the summon. Worst case scenario the summoned being would even ask for your life. This was rare, and contract summoning was the most normal type of summoning.

Angel summoning was something that had only happened once on record. “Oh? It seems Angel summoning is on par with demon summoning. But it only says it is a very rare summoning skill, and not much is known about it.”

Shizuku scratched her head. There were many other types of summoning, too, but there was nothing for her to go off of for her demon summoning. The fact that demon summoning was a god skill was already a flag word. If she summoned a demon, would she even be able to control it? She was still iffy about attempting this spell. But the monster summoning she did not mind trying.

Shizuku put up the book in her hands and stretched her arms. At the same time, the red-headed girl slowly woke up with drool dripping from her chin. “Is it dinner time yet?”
