IGSAGCSAWAYSH) The History Of The Vampires Part 1
Added 2024-03-28 22:30:50 +0000 UTC“They’re so strict….” Rose couldn’t help but complain. She felt that the rules here were a bit too stingy.
“They have to be. There is a saying that knowledge is power. The more you know the more you can do. This is something that holds true. This is also why I am here.” Shizuku needed to gain as much knowledge as she could. But she also did not have the time to sit and read every book here. She needed to choose what she needed to learn now and could spend time later slowly learning other things.
Rose followed behind Shizuku. Any time Shizuku picked up a book, so did she. If Shizuku put the book in her hand back, so did she. It was as if she had a mirror next to her reflecting back her actions except it was a red-headed, busty girl in the reflection instead of her. “Rose, you can go find a seat if you want. I will take a while.”
“Oh. Okay…” Rose nodded and wandered off. Only then did Shizuku feel a bit more relaxed. She wondered why this girl seemed so attached to her all of a sudden.
“Is it because I fed her?” Shizuku wrinkled her nose. While some of Rose’s actions were slightly annoying, she did not mind having a beauty hanging around.
Shizuku went row to row in the section that was marked races. She was looking for more information on vampires. This was the first thing she wanted to learn about. Since she was now a vampire she wanted to know more about her own origins, how her people came to be and their history.
It took her almost twenty minutes to finally find a few books on the history of vampires. She grabbed them and made her way to where Rose was sitting. When she arrived, she found Rose sound asleep. “This girl.” Shizuku chuckled.
She sat down and opened the first book and began reading the first few lines. “The first Vampire….”
According to the book, the first vampire, the Mother of all vampires, was actually born from a human woman named Sandria. Sandria was only sixteen at the time and never even talked to a boy, which made her pregnancy strange. The church saw it as the coming of a new god. So they named Sandria as a saint and took her from her home.
Sandria was treated with great care and was given a life she could never have gotten if she had stayed in her village. When her child was born, it was born as a girl. She looked human except for her two pointy ears and her two little fangs.
This child was quickly dubbed the Holy Saintess and the second coming of the Goddess Yunni. Under the care of the church, Sandria and her daughter, Eulise, were treated as royalty. Sandria did not have to do anything but care for her daughter while the priestesses would take care of her daily needs.
Eulise grew up with the love and care any child would expect. The humans did not look down on her and treated her as a goddess. As she grew older her pale white skin, her silvery blonde hair, and red eyes were a sign of the gods. She was worshiped even by the pope himself.
But as she aged, things began to change. The high priests saw Eulise as a means of taking control of the church and wanted to marry her off to their sons. When the pope who worshiped Eulise passed, a new pope was appointed, and the treatment of the mother and daughter began to wane. The proposals to marry Eulise off began to turn into threats.
Sandria did not wish for her daughter to be forced into anything. She had been a blessing given to her by Goddess Yunni. There was no way she would allow her daughter to live unhappily. To keep her daughter from falling into the hands of those who wished to use her for their own gains, Sandria decided that she needed to escape the church and send her daughter some place where she could live freely. To love whom she wanted and live a life with out worrying about political struggle.
But things did not go as planned. While the two were able to leave the church, they were chased and quickly corned on a cliffside. The mother and daughter pair had their back to the cliff with the only options of either surrendering and suffering or jumping and hoping to survive.
They choose to jump. Sandria used her own body as a cushion to protect her daughter. Eulise ended up with two broken legs, but she was alive. Her mother died on impact. It was then that Eulise felt something inside her awaken. Her eyes glazed over at the sight of all the blood. Her instincts took over, and for the first time in her life, she feasted on blood. But the strange thing was that as she drank her mother’s blood, her legs healed, and so did all her other wounds. The more she drank, the stronger she became.
When the people who chased Eulise and her mother arrived. Eulise’s face and hands were covered in blood. She was standing there licking her fingers with a look of ecstasy on her face. When she saw the men walking over to her with their swords drawn, she let out a small giggle, killing everyone except one person who stood at the top of the cliff, watching everything from beginning to end. It was a single human who had hoped to help the mother and daughter escape. A priestess who has cared for both of them since they were young, Janet Hilson.
