LYWTTA) The End Of An Era
Added 2024-03-28 03:10:34 +0000 UTCThe Celestial Heaven Sect’s sect master trembled at Yuki’s words. But he still kept his composer as he asked: “And the hard way?”
“The hard way is that you turn over all the mystic races and everything in your sect’s treasure pavilion and alchemy pavilion. All the treasures that you have will compensate the families of those you destroyed and those whose families were completely lost. As well as compensation for the destruction of my own sect as well. I think this is letting you off lightly by doing this but… just know I am only doing this because your sect is needed. If you disagree I will forgo the world of cultivation and just destroy your entire sect. I am sure another pill sect will rise up eventually.” Yuki replied. In truth, she wanted these resources for her sect to begin with. She could take them by force, but this was much easier.
“I will see to it.” The Celestial Heaven Sect’s sect master was actually quite glad that this was the only thing Yuki was asking for. Treasures could be reacquired so could pills, but lives could not!
“Good then, please have all the mystic races gather here while I wait for you to bring me all of your sect’s treasures. And remember not to hide any; I can detect them with ease.” Yuki gave the Celestial Heaven sect’s sect master a bright smile causing him to shiver in fear.
“I will do as you say.” He never thought after living for so many years that he would be forced to end up bowing his head to someone younger than him. But the Tailed Asura was just too powerful. And those around her were just as powerful. Even the ancestor of his sect was unwilling to come out.
Not even ten minutes later, the meeting hall was starting to get filled with thin, emaciated men and women of all ages and races. Yuki’s eyes glazed over. She really wanted to murder everyone in this sect at this time, but she held back since she was still waiting for all the resources. She looked over at Delia, who was at the side, who nodded and stood up. “You are all safe now. In a little while, you will be brought to a place where you can settle down and recuperate after the years of abuse you have endured. Once you have all gathered, I will personally escort you all out of this sect and to a new home.”
“You…. You won’t harm us?” A young girl with the lower half of her body that of a snake asked as she moved to the front.
“No… We have been working to shut down all sects that have been harming the mystic races. Once you are free, there will be no one else here to harm you.” Delia replied. Her words caused a gasp of surprise from the crowd of mystic races, which was followed by cries of happiness.
Two hours passed when the Celestial Heaven Sect’s sect master returned with two fingers in his hands. “This here is every treasure within the sect. There are also treasures in their own right, as they are spatial rings. You only need to drop some blood on it to refine to access the items inside.”
Yuki nodded and did as she was told. She soon felt a connection to the rings, and with a glance, she was able to tell that they were both filled to the brim with treasures and pills. “Alright. Then we will take our leave.”
“I am glad we could work this out.” The Celestial Heaven’s sect master smiled and bowed his head to Yuki before seeing her out. Only when he returned did he finally let out a breath of relief. “That disaster is finally gone. We lost a lot today, but we can slowly build it all back up.”
“Sect master! The sky!” An elder rushed into the meeting hall with a face full of fear. The sect master stood up and quickly rushed outside and looked up at the sky. The entire sect was now covered in a strange barrier, and high in the sky was a massive object falling down toward the sect. He stood there staring at the sky in disbelief. Had the heavens really shunned them?
“Oh? Sect master of the Celestial Heaven’s sect. Looks like you won’t make it this time.” Yuki’s voice filled his ears. He turned to see the Tailed Asura standing in the sky with a big smile on her face. It seemed she was enjoying the situation. No…. The sect master thought for a moment as something came to mind. “You did this! You never planned to let us go!”
“Oh!” Yuki began to clap her hands together. “Old dog, you really guessed right. It’s a pity that you will all still die. Just think about it as paying compensation to the dead.”
“You! Tailed Asura! I will haunt you like a ghost after I die!” The Celestial Heaven Sect’s sect master roared in anger, but that was all he could do. In no time at all, the entire sect was vaporized from the mortal realm. The Celestial Heaven Sect, which had thousands of years of history, was not gone without a trace.
