IGSAGCSAWAYSH) Exploring Freesdale Part 1

“Place your hand on this for me, please.” The guard was very polite as he spoke to Shizuku, which made Shizuku have high hopes for this kingdom. It was, after all, the kingdom she was from.

Shizuku placed her hand on the crystal ball, which began to light up red. “This is…. Have you committed crimes in the human kingdom? The Holy Kingdom of Vandale?”

“Crimes? I am not sure what crime I could have committed in the Holy Kingdom. I mean, they were rude to me, so I hit them. They raped my friends so I burned them while they were sleeping. Even now, it’s not enough. Should I go back and wipe the kingdom off the map?” Shizuku got very defensive when it came to what she did in the Holy Kingdom.

“Hmm? No, well, it would not be a bad idea, but for now, it’s fine. Such crimes might appear on the crystal ball, but for us Fallen, they are praiseworthy deeds.” The guard was all smiles. He was human, but he had no feelings toward the human church of his own race. Fallen consisted of all races, from humans to the undead. Many humans defected to the Fallen territories because they were sick of how things were being run. The same went for elves, dwarves and beastkin as well. Whether it was out of love or their families being destroyed by nobles or the church, there was always a reason.

“Oh? So I will be praised? I killed quite a high priest in those fires you know.” Shizuku was all smiles. Finally, someone understood how grand her accomplishments are!

“You will need to go to city guards headquarters. They will check you with a higher level Sight Crystal. It will be able to see the crimes you committed to make sure none of them were against the Fallen races as well as secure what you did that can be granted compensation for good deeds.”

“Then I will head there first.” Shizuku was all about getting free things if she could. She did not have much as it was so this was a good thing.

“Please do. I will need to check the rest of you as well.” The guard was about to test Miyumi and the others when Shizuku raised her hand. “No need. They are my slaves.”

Before reaching the guard, Lishia already said that slaves did not need to be checked for bad deeds since they would show up on their master’s check. “If they are your slaves, please have them all moved to the room to the right and recall them to your side.”

This was also exactly as Lishia had explained. Shizuku gave the girls a nod and all of them walked to the room they were told to go to and not even a few seconds later all of them were once again standing at Shizuku’s side.

The guard looked over at the guard that watched the room. Seeing him nod, the guard turned his attention back to Shizuku and smiled. “Thank you for following our orders. You are now free to enter. But please remember that any slave caught doing a crime within the city will be killed and you yourself will be arrested.”

“Understood. Thanks!” Shizuku smiled and walked through the gates to get her first glimpse of a Fallen city. For the first time since coming to this world she was seeing multiple different races all at once walking about under the blue sky above. “Now, this was what I was hoping to see.”

“Shizu, you got a very warm smile on your face.” Miyumi hugged Shizuku’s arm.

“How can I not? This is what I would expect from a fantasy world. Human, beastkin, orcs, goblins, and many other races all roaming about. Each one getting along with the other. It makes me wish we were summoned here instead of some hell hole.”

“This is nice.” Mei, who was normally the quiet one, couldn’t help but exclaim at what she was seeing. “Master, will we really be living in a place like this from now on?”

“Mhm! Now, we do not need to worry as much about you or the others going out because no one will treat you badly.” Shizuku had a big smile on her face as she looked around at the different stalls. While some were selling things she would never wish to touch, it was still interesting to see such things.

“Is that the undead’s meat stall?” Shizuku pointed at a stall that stood a few feet away from the rest. Behind it was a small skeleton wearing a red dress. Although it was all skin and bones, Shizuku could tell she was a girl, mainly due to the red bow that was stuck to her skull.

“They are selling meat, and it seems the girl is selling death flowers. They are rare flowers that only grow in the undead territories but they are said to be good for medical usage.” Lishia explained.

“It just so happens that my gift is apothecary. I did plan to start trying to raise the skill.” Shizuku walked straight over to the young skeleton girl and knelt down in front of her. “How much, little cutey?”

“Hehe.” The skeleton girl giggled, raised her hand, and held up one finger. “One silver.”

“Oh? Then how about this? You have ten here, so I will buy all ten, okay?”
