ACFGTTM) Two Against One

“What how!?” The masked man did not understand. An oni should not be so strong! “Die! Die! Die!” 

Shion frowned as she continued to bat away the means of light. She did not know why this man was wasting his time. “Since you are not attacking, I will deal with you!”

Shion swung her sword horizontally, wanting to bi-sect the man, but right as her attack reached the masked man, he used his beam to block the attack, sending him flying backward toward the orc lord. 

The masked man smashed into the ground and skidded to a stop in front of the orc lord. He crawled to his feet and stared at Shion with hatred in his eyes. “I will kill you all!”

“Gelmud-sama! Why are you doing this!?” Gabiru yelled out. He was confused as to why this man was trying to kill everyone.

Hearing a familiar voice, the masked man, Gelmud, looked at Gabiru and snorted: “Good Gabiru, you idiot, do me a favor and just die! You can become the food that will serve to create my masterpiece!”  

A massive ray of light shot at Gabiru, but before it could hit him, a small figure appeared in front of Gabiru. “You really should not question a madman, Gabiru. If you do, you will end up dead. Just kill him and let that be it.” 

Remmi used her predator skill to block the attack. Her words were something she thought that Tomoya would say, so she was just kind of trying to wing it, but in fact, she was scared to all hell. She was trying to be strong, but in fact, she wished Tomoya was at her side.

“Thank you….” Gabiru knew when to give thanks. He was still startled thought by the attack.

“Mmm…. Go take care of your friends.” Remmi tossed out a few balls of potion before looking at Gelmud. “I will say this now. You already pissed me off calling my sister a bitch.”

“Who the hell are you!? Why do more and more of you trash keep getting in my way! Geld, you owe me! Kill them!” Gelmud did not wish to die so he could only call on his last resort! The orc lord himself!

“You are right… I do owe you…. But… I am hungry….” Geld, the orc lord, stepped forward, grabbed Gelmud, opened his mouth, and chomped on the masked man's head.

“Ugh…” Remmi felt her stomach turn when she saw the man being eaten alive. But she held it since she was on a battlefield.

On Tomoya’s side, she quickly wrote down what she saw as she softly said: “It’s time….”

“Time?” Souka was confused.

“Just watch. You are about to witness the birth of a demon lord.” Tomoya replied. She looked at Remmi, who was standing there trying to act tough, and sighed. Remmi was visibly shaking. She did nto wish to scare her wife like this. “I guess I will step in. I have the same powers as her now so it will be fine.” 

Tomoya closed her book and put it away. She turned towards the lizard girl next to her and put up a barrier around her. “Stay here. Do not leave the blue dome; it will protect you.”

“O-Okay….” Souka did not really understand, but she was told not to move, so she won’t.

Tomoya disappeared from sight, only to reappear next to Remmi. “Remmi, I will take over.”

“Tomo…” Remmi’s strong front melted in front of Tomoya. 

“It’s okay. I am sorry for trying to push you too much.” Remmi was strong but she was too different from the original character. She was her own person now. The story had long replaced Remmi with Tomoya. Tomoya knew this, but she wanted Tomoya to grow stronger if she could get her too, but it seemed it was still too soon since Remmi was still overly attached to her at this time.

“Mm… Sorry…” Remmi lowered her head. She looked like a puppy who was just yelled at.

“No need to be sorry. You did well.” Tomoya replied with a smile as she patted Remmi on the head and stepped forward. She grinned slightly as she asked her skill, the Great Sage: “Want to work together? Let’s mix our combat abilities.”

“Understood. Turning on Semi-Auto Combat Mode.” The Great Sage replied.

One of Tomoya’s eyes lit up as she floated up into the air. “Parallel processing…” This is what Tomoya called this state. This was because Tomoya and the great sage could work together seamlessly without harming the other. They could cast different spells and skills all at the same time with the help of them both having control of the body. Her right side was able to cast spells that the great sage deemed to fight, and then the left side was under Tomoya's control, allowing her to do the same. With them both casting spells it was basically a battle of two against one.
