IGSAGCSAWAYSH) Plans Going Forward And New Companions
Added 2024-02-19 04:14:48 +0000 UTC“But isn’t that common sense?” Shizuku did no understand. Wouldn’t anyone who goes to a new country make sure they are following the status quo? She felt this was something that all people should know from the moment they became adventurers, merchants, or just plain old travelers.
“You would think that, but it’s not always the case. Some people are just plain stupid. Take Bradly, for instance. He had no idea what he was up against but still ran at you asking for death.” Bardly, who was sitting at the side far, far away from Shizuku, flinched hearing his name. Normally, he would yell at the person talking about him, but at this time, he was in no mood. He was afraid if he even looked in Shizuku’s direction, he might lose a body part.
“Well, there will always be idiots, I guess.” Shizuku sighed. She wondered if she should leave this place sooner rather than later. With her current skills, she could easily level up Mei and Miyumi in a higher-level dungeon. She wanted to get to Fallen territory as soon as possible to take her adventurer rank-up exam. She was currently still F-rank. That is, if she can somehow pass the two-year requirement.
She felt it was kind of dumb to have a two-year requirement on anything. It should be based on skill and skill alone. “Lishia, is there any way to bypass the two-year requirement on ranking up?”
“Hmmm… Maybe. I can try putting in a word for you. If I ask, they might let you take a D-rank exam. But that is only if the guild hall you go to will allow it. Each guild master is different.” Lishia replied.
“Then what about the one in Dracluna?” Since she was heading there it would be the place she would be staying at for a long time. Even if she had to spend a few years working on her ranking she could do so while leveling up in the process.
“I have been to Dracluna a few times. The guild master there is not too bad. But sadly, he doesn’t owe me any favors, so I can’t think of a way to get him to do it. We can try, though. I do plan to head that way in a few days. So, if you are willing to hang out here for a few days, we can travel there together. It might help you out a bit, too, since you will not need to worry about lodging.” Lishia wanted to learn more about Shizuku and her friends. To have a summoned hero traveling around like this was not something she ever thought she would see. She had not touched upon the subject yet, but she did wish to ask Shizuku about her home world.
“That might not be so bad. But are you sure? Traveling with a Fallen could cause you a lot of trouble.” Shizuku did not want to cause trouble for Lishia. But she did wish to take a hot bath if she could.
“It’s no problem. We can just stay in the towns and inns I frequent during my travels. Most of them owe me for one reason or another, so it’s fine.” Lishia replied with a smile.
“Then we will be in your care.” Shizuku leaned back into Mei, who gently hugged her from behind and closed her eyes.
“Shizu, will we still dive tomorrow?” Miyumi whispered.
“Mm…. Yeah….” Shizuku knew it would be hard to hide her instanced dungeons but there was no helping it. It would become clear sooner or later that something was off. She could not just keep entering the dungeon and disappear every time with out being questioned at some point. “But we will be power running it.”
“Oh?” Miyumi raised an eyebrow.
“I figured it is pointless for us to do dungeons at the same level when we can easily do higher ranking dungeons and level faster. If killed everything then we can level quicker. While this is not as good for training, it is very productive for leveling. We will still run this dungeon the next few days until Lishia is ready, but then we will hold off until we reach Fallen Territory.” Shizuku explained.
“Sounds good to me. If we need to, Mei and I can run a lower-level dungeon to get a better understanding of our abilities.
“I was thinking the same. It will be safe while at the same time still good training. Then, when you have a grasp of your skills, we can take on harder dungeons.” Shizuku liked this idea. It would boost her leveling speed and also allow Miyumi and Mei to train as well.
Lishia heard Shizuku and Miyumi’s conversation but she chose to stay quiet. She really wished to ask about the dungeon thing, but she also knew now was not the time. Luckily, the other adventurers did not hear them, or they would find Shizuku’s plan funny since it was always first come, first serve. But this did not mean anyone would stand in their way. They would all have to have raisin for a brain if they were willing to fight Shizuku for kills. They would rather wait until respawn!
