ACFGTTM) Shizu Part 2

Tomoya was even more surprised. She wondered just what kind of backstory Remmi would have now. But this was also good since it meant Remmi was now female, according to the new storyline. She smiled and gave Remmi a squeeze as she said: “It’s good your memories are coming back.”

“Mmm!” Remmi wiggled her body. She, too, was glad she was starting to remember things.

“You two seem close.” Shizu giggled as she looked at the two’s interaction.

“We came to this world around the same time, so it is only natural. Plus, Remmi is fatted to be with me.” Tomoya said proudly, causing Remmi to want to scream in embarrassment.

“I see.” Shizu did not say anymore but she did find it interesting. 

“Remmi-sama.” Rigurd came running over. “These are?”

“They are new friends. Can you get them something to eat and some warm water to freshen up? They had a rough time.” Tomoya explained for Remmi.

“Of course, Tomoya-sama.” Rigurd was just as respectful to Tomoya as he was to Remmi.

“Shizu, are you going to eat?” Irene asked.

“In a bit, I want to talk with Tomoya and Remmi a bit more.” Shizu did not have many chances to talk to people from her world.

“You can eat. We will come with you.” Tomoya suggested, to which Shizu nodded.

About thirty minutes later, Tomoya was witnessing one of the most intense eating sessions she had ever seen. She had seen the anime and manga and knew these three were crazy over the food they were fed, but this was just…. Irene’s cheeks were puffed out, and her eyes were bloodshot. But what got Tomoya the most was her double fisting of meat. Even her two male companions were not going that far. However, the fact that they were crazily chewing as if their life depended on it did not help things much.

“Hey! That was my meat!” Irene yelled out as she stabbed her fork towards Cabal. 

“Are you trying to kill me!?” Cabal yelled back.

“Humph! Serves you right! I had just cooked that piece of meat!” Irene snorted as she began stuffing her face again. 

“They are quite the entertaining bunch.” Remmi really felt watching them was quite fun.

“They are. I am glad I was with them in the end.” Shizu mumbled softly. But Tomoya heard her loud and clear.

“Remmi, can you watch over these three? I want to speak with SHizu alone for a moment.” Tomoya’s expression was serious, which was different from her normal casual smile. So Remmi could only agree.

Shizu followed Tomoya out of the village to an open area where there was no one else around. “Shizu, how long before Ifrit takes over?” 

“You can tell!?” Shizu was stunned, but it was not that Tomoya could tell it was because she already knew!

“You will soon lose control. I already know you are struggling as it is.” Tomoya said softly. “Do you wish to continue like this? Or do you wish for me to save your soul? I can put your soul into stasis, and when we can rebuild you a new body, you can live a normal life.”

“A normal life.” Shizu bit her lip as she slowly pulled off her mask and looked at Tomoya. “A normal life was something I could never dream of. I have always been used more as a weapon. I have been fighting for so long and struggling to keep my sanity. I just want it to end….” 

“I can help you. You can be reborn in a new body free from the binds of Ifrit. With my help and Remmi’s help, we can allow you to be reborn in this world.” Tomoya reached out and held Shizu’s hand, and pulled her close. Shizu, who had always been afraid of losing control, broke down into tears and hugged Tomoya tightly. 

She was grateful to have someone understand her fears and wants. She never asked for any of this. She was forced here and then had Ifrit shoved into her body. So, to have someone tell her she could be reborn and live a normal life made her feel as if all her suffering was just for this moment.

“When the time comes, and you feel you can no longer control it, let me know. We will help you.” Tomoya said softly. She even gave the top of Shizu’s head a kiss.

After Shizu calmed down, she put her mask on, and the two walked hand in hand back to the village. When they entered the tent, three people were passed out on the floor, holding their protruding bellies. “They seemed to have enjoyed themselves.”

“You two seem to have gotten close as well.” Remmi was slightly jealous. She also wished to hold Tomoya’s hand!

“Remmi, we need to talk. So have someone look after these three. It’s important, so let’s go back to our tent.” Tomoya wanted to fill Remmi in on everything.

“Alright.” Remmi nodded, and the three moved to their tent.

“So that is the gist of it. With your help, we can eventually rebuild a body for her soul to inhabit. What do you think?” Tomoya asked after explaining everything to Remmi.

“After my skill analyzes her soul, we should be able to rebuild it. It’s basically the same as what we are doing for Victoria.”
