“He…. Hehehee…. Hahahaha!” Maniacal laughter came from within the gray stone hand that was trying to crush Myu.

It slowly started to go from a solid gray to an orange color as it heated up to the point that it was slowly turning into lava. The fingers melted away, revealing the small girl inside whose arms and legs looked to be broken in many places, but one would not realize it with how she was smiling away. “Hehe… Ouch…. That kind of hurts.”

Dio stared in horror at the small girl. He could see the blood dripping down from her mouth and the bones poking through her skin, but what made him feel true fear was how everything seemed to be reversing itself. Her bones were cracking and popping as they reset and began to heal. He had thought he had finally killed the psychotic girl who did not seem to know the fear of death.

“You know….” Myu grinned as she waved the chain sword in her hand. “I haven’t felt pain like that in a long time…..”

She could have her entire body pierced through, but the feeling of being crushed was something that hurt more than anything. It felt as if she was being beaten by someone after they caught her stealing. She remembered being beaten black and blue, and her sister had to take care of her for almost two weeks before she could finally get out of bed.

“You… You! You are not human!” Dio cried out. He was backing away, but he had nowhere to go. He was surrounded by bright red flames of wrath that Myu had set up. Of course, she had never thought of ever letting him go, to begin with. He had caused too many problems and came at her time and time again.

Dio gritted his teeth and remembered the last trump card he had. He raised his hand and grinned as he shouted: “Goddess of Death, give me strength!”

If this floor had crickets, that would be all you would hear at this time. Dio’s eyes widened as he stared at his hand that was pointing towards Myu, hoping she would fall over and die, but there was nothing. Nothing at all.

Watching from above at what was going on from a black void, the Goddess of Death held her head and wondered why she even thought this stupid man would be of any use to her. She looked at the girl who had flames sparking up from her wounds, the twisted arms that were resetting themselves, and knew she would need to plan differently in the future. If she wanted to get her revenge on the Goddess of Wrath, she would need a plan that could overtake this girl who did not fear anything. “If I had discovered this girl before her….”

A slight regret filled the Goddess of Death’s eyes. She had never seen such a perfect person to give her blessing to. No fear and crazy mentality. The perfect combination for one who wields death. The more she thought about it, the more she wondered. An idea started springing up in her mind as she looked at the little girl. “If I were to give her my blessing and override that bitches blessing….”

“AHHHHHHHHHHHCHOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!” Yuu let out a loud sneeze breaking the tension in the air. She rubbed her nose and looked around, wondering who was talking about her.

Aeko and Kori both stared at the young girl in shock. For someone to be so relaxed that they could even sneeze at a time like this. Kori, though, had questions. “How did you know?”

“Hmmm? How did I know what?” Yuu asked. She had no idea what this young woman was talking about.

“I am asking how did you know that Myu would be fine!?” Kori yelled out. She only saw the little girl being crushed. If it was anyone else, they would have long died.

“How can a weakling like that fight against the flames of wrath?” Yuu snorted as she pointed at Dio. “He is so weak that he can’t even control his own blessing! Even if he could, there is no way he could beat this little one. She is pretty much unkillable below the five hun… ahem… She is basically unkillable.”

Kori stared at Yuu with questioning eyes, but Yuu only turned her head. She realized she almost made a blunder just now. She could not tell the climbers how many floors there were in the tower, even if it was an odd number.

While Kori did not pick up on it due to being more concerned about Myu, Aeko heard it loud and clear. She did not say a word though as Yuu had corrected herself, but she was starting to feel that Yuu was no human at all and was most likely….

Back to Myu, who was now skipping towards Dio with a smile on her face. He had been frozen stiff with his arm still stretched out this entire time. If it was not for Myu cauterizing his wounds as she attacked him, he would have long been dead, but he realized now that he truly did not have anything left to attack. Nothing worked. He threw everything he had at her, but none of it worked. He could only watch as the young girl stopped in front of him with a playful smile and looked up at him with innocent eyes.

“Dio~ Dio~ Dio has no head~” Myu’s eyes flashed with flames as she swiped the blade of her chain sword through the air. Dio’s head began to slide off its neck and fall to the ground. The only thing Dio saw before he was put into internal darkness was the sadistic smile formed on the little girl’s face. His eyes widened in fear and froze like that for all eternity.
