Aeko watched as the ground began to freeze over, but before that ice could even reach Dio, it began to melt as if the ground was on fire. Steam rose up as a clear boundary was formed where the hot ground met the ice, both causing Dio and Kori, who were burning with rage, to stare at the scene in front of them in surprise and confusion. 

“You might want to tell the ice girl to get away from there now.” Yuu suddenly spoke up, causing Aeko to finally understand what was going on. The little girl was far from dead! 

“Stay here!” Aeko let Yuu go and disappeared as she charged toward Kori. Just as she reached Kori and hooked her arm around Kori’s waist, a small laugh was heard coming from the earth spikes.

“Pfft….. Hahaha…. Hahahaha!” The small laugh quickly turned into a maniacal laugh filled with contempt. “Dio…. Dio…. Dio! DIO!!!!”

An eerie child like voice kept repeating Dio’s name, causing him to feel a cold shiver run down his spine. He turned towards the earth spikes to see the bloodied figure that was slumped over lift its head and look back at him. Blood dripped from the figure’s eyes, nose, and mouth.

Kori’s eyes opened wide when she saw that the little girl was still alive. Tears rained down her cheeks as a wave of relief washed over her. “Aeko, let me go I need to go to her and bring her back so she can be healed!”

“No! Are you stupid!? If I bring you over there you will end up being caught up in something worse and the one who will need to be healed will be you!” Aeko did not care for Kori’s protest and swept her off her feet and disappeared only reappearing next to Yuu once more.

*Slap!*

“Aeko I thought differently of you!” Kori yelled out after slapping Aeko for stopping her. She once more tried to charge back over to Myu but was stopped once again when Yuu stood in front of her. 

“Miss, you need to stay here or else you will end up dying,” Yuu said sternly, she walked over and tapped Kori’s body causing it to stiffen up to the point that her arms and legs were forced straight down. She stood there like a pole, unable to move.

Aeko held her cheek and looked at Yuu in shock. She could not sense any power from this little girl, but she easily retrained Kori like it was nothing. “I did not get to ask, but who are you?”

“My name is Yuu, and I am Myu’s partner,” Yuu replied. She gave Aeko a smile and bowed her head. “Please do not get angered at this young one who only worried about Myu. Myu will be just fine. I can assure you of this.”

“Pfft!” Aeko waved it off as she said: “It’s as if you are older than us all. But then again, with the power you have, I would not be surprised. To restrain Kori with a single touch, you are not someone ordinary. And plus, I know Kori. She will be crying to me later to apologize, but I have to ask why are you so sure that Myu will be fin….”

A wave of extreme heat spread out in all directions, hitting the three in the face. Even at such a distance, the heat was still hot enough to take the breath out of them. All except for Yuu, who stood there staring at the child she had blessed with eyes filled with stars.

“Hahahaha! Dio! Let’s have some fun!” Myu’s voice rang out in a crazed yet melodious tone. The rock that made up the earth spikes that were imbued with Dio’s magic and should not be able to melt began to glow with an orange glow at the spots that were touching the little girl. Tilly who was on Myu’s shoulder held tightly onto Myu’s collar as the temperature rose higher and higher. She was a little scared that Myu had forgotten about her but so far she felt no heat at all. But she could sense the heat in the air and knew that it was as if they were in a lake of lava at this time.

“No! Impossible! I killed you! Your body is full of my earth spikes! There is no way you can still be alive! Two even pierced through your heart!” Dio was panicking. He had never seen anyone survive his earth spikes, and now he was watching as the little girl he had just impaled alive and talking as if she wasn’t hurt in the slightest.

“Hehe….” The earth spikes began to turn into magma and fell to the ground. The wounds on Myu slowly healed up in a flicker of flame. Even her clothes which were shredded in many places began to reform back to brand new. The blood that was leaking from her orifices began to flake and burn to ash.

It only took a minute before Myu stood there stretching her arms with a crazed smile on her face. She looked at Dio with her head tilted to the side, her eyes wide as she said: “Dio, let’s play a game.”

Myu took a step forward as she did, pure red flames shot up from the ground in front of her, encircling the two of them. The only ones within the flame circle were Dio and herself. She wanted to make sure no one could disturb them as she played with her new toy.

On the side, the heat of the flames forced the three to retreat even more. The ground itself was so hot that anything that touched it turned to ash. The green grass that once had grown there was now wilted away, leaving nothing but dirt for about three hundred feet. “What is happening!?”

“Haha!” Yuu let out a loud laugh. She had picked an amazing child! She was wielding her flames of wrath in directions that even she did not know existed! She mumbled to herself: “Crazed Flames of Wrath!”
