“Follow?” The young girl smiled and shook her head. “Not follow attaching.”

“Huh?” Myu was very confused. She had no idea what this strange girl was talking about.

“I said I am attaching myself to you. So let’s get along ok…. Ouch! Don’t just shoot flames at people who are talking to you!” The young girl cried out as she dodged to the side as a bright redish orange flame flew by her. She was in a mortal body and was almost killed by her own power! She was starting to regret making this little girl so overpowered.

“Tch…” Myu frowned seeing how quickly the girl could move. But since she reached the third floor on her own she must have some ability.

“Did you just click your tongue at me!? All because I dodged!?” The young girl was not stupid, she understood why Myu had clicked her tongue.

“Anyway, dopn’t follow m….” Myu did not even get o finish what she was saying before her arm was hooked by another. Her eyes narrowed as her flames slowly began to creep out again but before she could burn the strange girl to a crisp she let go and took a few steps back.

“Fine, I won’t hang on to you but I will follow you. There is nothing wrong with me wanting to make friends with you right?” The young girl asked with a smile.

Myu stared into those golden eyes that she felt like she had seen before and sighed a very, very long sigh. “Fine, but if you annoy me I will burn you.”

“No proble… Ouch! I didn’t even do anything!” The young girl whined as she jumped back once more. She heard another click of the tongue and then an even longer sigh than before. She really wondered what went on in this little girl’s head to be doing things like this.

“Since I can’t get rid of you, how old are you and what is your name?” Myu wanted to make sure she was the older one. So even if the girl said she was fourteen Myu would say she was fifteen. Even though she did not even look anywhere close to that age.

“My name? Hmmm?” The young girl looked at Myu and smiled as she knew she was now in and finally said: “Call me Yuu. And I am thirteen!” She did not want to use her real name as it was too flashy so she decided to the last two letters of Myu’s name and then tack a second yu onto it.

“I am fourteen so called me big sister,” Myu replied causing the porter on her shoulder to choke on air. She looked up at Myu and wondered why this girl would lie about her age. She saw no benefit in it.

Yuu stared at Myu wondering if she should out the little girl since there was no way in hell she was fourteen then again she did not look thirteen either but she wanted to be seen as a bit older than Myu. Who knew the little girl would lie so obviously? But since this was a good way to stay on the hot headed girl’s good side she decided to go along with it. “Then Big Sister will need to look after me!”

“Mmm… just don’t die. Or sleep. Never mind, sleep but don’t wake up. Maybe you will feel very warm while you are sleeping. So warm you will see the gods before I do.” Although she had already seen one. At least, she thinks anyway.

“What do you mean sleep but never wake up!? That is the same as being dead!” Yuu yelled out wishing she could kick the little girl but is too afraid of her own power that Myu now wields to get too close to her. She could only pout and humph while looking the other way.

“Myu, you seem like you are having fun.” Tilly suddenly spoke up. She could see the smile on Myu’s lips.

“Mmm… Things might be interesting while I climb now. If things get dangerous, I can even use her as bait.” Myu was not whispering at all so Yuu could only stare daggers at the girl, deciding not to retort this time since the little girl seemed to be having a field day out of her 

“So where are you headed?” Yuu decided to change the subject.

“Need to find something. But I am not sure what an obelisk is. I need to find twenty of them so I figured I would just roam around burning things until I find one.” Myu replied. She was really laid back. She did not think she would run into anything strong on this floor. She had not even used her weapon yet. She wondered if she should use it on the next group of climbers who try to attack her or not.

“I see then, lead the way!” Yuu smiled and was raring to go. She knew a lot about the tower but never go to look around inside. So this was not a bad break from her normal boring life as a goddess.

While the two girls were setting off in search of obelisks, a group of climbers gathered around a charred section of earth on the second floor. A tall man with a large sword on his back looked at another man who was shorter and had daggers on his waist. “Is this the place?”

“Yes, it is where I saw your guild members being burnt to ash by a strange little girl. She was the cause of the entire forest being burnt down as well.” The man with daggers replied.

“Alright, thanks. Send word to the other guilds and tell them that if they had anyone missing who was on the second floor that they probably got killed by the same person.”
