“You! You dare to ignore me!?” The young man in the front yelled out. His sword at the ready as if he was going to attack at any time.

“Why are you yelling!? Timmy was in that section of the forest! He is probably dead by now! Just kill her!” One of the girls in the group yelled out. She carried a staff with her, which meant she was in a support role in her party.

Climbers normally never soloed. Soloing meant death as there was no telling what would happen in the tower. At one moment you could be killing a monster here and there and then the next you know you are surrounded by hundreds of monsters with no way out. Without a proper team, it would mean your death. Everyone once and a while on each floor up to the tenth floor there was something called a monster wave that happened every so often. These waves would sweep the floors and the climbers who got caught in such an event would either need to hide or fight, hiding being the best option as it would allow you to live to see another day.

But the main thing many climbers had to watch out for were other climbers. So for Myu, who was deep into the second floor currently burning the forest down and everything else along with it, these young men and women who had friends in that section of the forest saw that they could easily take one little girl on while she was burning things, charged forward.

Their swords and spells all fell onto Myu’s body or so they thought. “Ahhhhh!!!!!!!”

Flames erupted from Myu encircling her body and spreading outward. The three melee fighters two young teen males and a teen girl suddenly burst into flames and turned to ash in an instant. Myu turned her head towards the last two people wielding staves, her lips curling up into a maniacal smile. “You want to kill me? Hahaha…. Hehehe… heh….” Myu’s smile slowly disappeared as a cold look replaced it. “Burn.”

“Wait we ar…. AHHHHHHhhhh…” The last two did not even get a chance to run. Their bodies turned to ash after they experienced the feeling of being burned alive.

Tilly did not dare say a word. Currently, her contractor was in a crazed state, and she knew better than to say a word at this time until she calmed down. She could only watch as Myu continued to burn the forest to ash would out a care for any life form within her flames.

“I wonder how Myu is doing….” Kori sighed as she finished up the final paperwork. She needed to get a few people to help clean things.

“Are you worried about her? You do realize that the little girl is a walking disaster, right? She does not seem to have a concept of good or evil, which means anything goes for her.” Aeko walked over and placed a cup of tea on Kori’s desk.

“That is what has got me worried the most. She has no common sense. She just lives freely without care for the laws. But then again, she lived a rough life where those laws made things hard on her. If she goes crazy in the tower and starts burning people to a crisp. I worry about her mentality.” Kori did not care for the people she burned but if the little girl suddenly became a mass murderer would her mind be able to take it?

“Ah… now that you mention it without us there to restrain her, that is just possible, although we did tell her to kill anyone who messed with her.” Aeko started to get worried. She wondered how many guilds would be coming to complain to Kori in the future.

“Yeah, that is true. With her being so young many people will try to steal from her I am sure. But I do wonder how many floors she will clear on her first trip. With her current power, I can see her getting to the sixth floor without issue.” Kori had high hopes for Myu and hoped the little girl will expand her horizons more. “I guess I should get ready to enter the tower now that I think about it….” Kori sighed. She had a feeling that Myu would just keep climbing without a care.

“I will go with you. It’s been a while since we teamed up.” Aeko was all for climbing the tower with Kori. When they had first started out she had teamed up with Kori a few times but since they joined their guilds they had not been able to team up much.

“At this rate, you might as well join Phantasia Oneiros.” Kori teased but Aeko stayed silent. Not giving a definitive answer. “I was just joking I know you like your guild.”

“No, it’s not that. I was actually thinking about it but still need time. As you said before all the top guilds have stagnated and none of the guild masters are looking to keep climbing any time soon since it would result in death. Until their positions as top guilds are threatened I highly doubt they will push their members to climb higher. But that tenth floor boss…” Aeko sighed. “Forget it. I will give you an answer after we bring back the little one.”

Kori had only been joking but now she was kind of happy. With Aeko here things would go a lot smoother for her. “Alright. I will be waiting then. But really, I wonder which floor she will reach by the end of three days.”

On the second floor standing in front of the boss room, behind the little girl who was currently taking in the images on the stone doors was a sky full of black smoke. The forest around her was no more only the burnt ground that went all the way to the dirt was left. Tilly stared at the apocalyptic scene and realized Myu was really no ordinary girl.
