“Err?” I looked at the blue ball things that suddenly gathered around me and took a step back. “Sorry? Was he your brother? Mother? A sister? Maybe he was a brother from another mother?”

“Okay, I get it! Stop bumping into me! Look, you are killing yourselves!” There are like a few hundred of these blue ball things! They keep jumping at me left and right as if they will do damage to me, but they don’t even sting. If anything, it is quite annoying! I mean, I, an ice dragon, and getting bullied by blue ball things!

“Hmmm?” I was awakened by a loud dinging sound in my head. I couldn’t really move anywhere since all the blue ball things kept attacking me, so I laid down and took a nap. It might seem like a stupid idea, but I had not listed a single point of health, and the blue ball things kept dying after one attack. I didn’t even need to move. I laid down, and they all pounced on me.

Although there are quite a few shiny things around me. “What are these?”

“Lucky!” I got blue balls from the blue ball things! I kind of wish I could stream this, it would have made me a lot of money. But sadly, I can’t. At any rate, I at least leveled up. But I do wonder why so many blue ball things decided to attack all at once.

After picking up all the blue balls, I decided to head back. Luckily my makeshift basket was not knocked over, and I was able to keep all my loot. I set everything down and quickly got everything ready to bake in the sun to dry out. I could only hope the sun would be hot enough to do so. I always felt cool, probably due to my race, so I had no idea if it was hot or not.

Once everything was set out I sat by the pond’s edge and opened my status window.

From the looks of things, I gained twenty more health and ten more mana. I also got five skill points. The only major difference was a small icon next to the skill points. “This is?”

I reached out with my claw and pressed the icon. Another small window popped up showing a list with icons and names next to the icons, along with what seemed to be a cost.

“Skill Shop? Does this mean besides upgrading my skills, I can also buy more skills with skill points?” I tilted my head and scrolled through the list. There were not that many skills to choose from, so I guess they were the only skills I could get at my level range or maybe even evolution. “Healing!? Ugh…. 50 skill points. Not happening. Not yet, anyway. Oh, there is a lower version for one skill point. But I just got like twenty of those blue balls, so I will wait on this. It could be useful down the road, but for now….”

“Let’s see… Oh, some have level restrictions too….  But what really need right now is not defense of offense but utility. Here!” I finally spotted what I was looking for. “Inventory! Let’s check the details just in case….”

I picked up a fish from the pond and shoved it into the inventory. But when I pressed the still alive fish to the window, it did not go into the inventory, which made me wrinkle my snout. “Does it need to be dead?” I planned to eat the fish either way, but this will help in checking things out. So I killed it and tried again. Sure enough, this time, the fish went inside. I then did this a few more times to test to see if items stacked, and sure enough, they did! “This means I do not need to dry these out either.”

I quickly stashed all my food resources into the inventory as well as water, which stacked up to ninety-nine times before it went to a second slot. “What happens when I take the water out?”
