IDAAFPA) Bandits Everywhere! (unedited)

“That stupid nya in the nya. I just want to smack the nya out of the nya nya nya!” Hime started speaking in a strange tongue that even the old many did not understand, all while stomping her feet.

But Hime was stuck. She had no choice but to read the damn manual. While it vexed her to no end that she was probably making the damn old man laugh his head off, she decided to just give up and let the old man have his giggle. She bent down and picked up the book, and began reading it.

Since this was Hime’s first time coming in contact with the concept of real magic, she was not sure what to expect, but the book was actually really dumbed down to the point that she was kind of glad it was made for idiots. This was not to say that she was not smart, but the whole process of casting a spell came down to three steps. Visualization, word activation, and mana flow.

There were no complex magic circles or the like. Although by what Hime was reading, if she really wanted to, she could add such things in for appearance’s sake. So, in other words, the dimensional space could be represented in any way she wanted. As such, there was only one thing that Hime could think of that would be perfect. “Since it’s going to be a place where I store things, then I want to be able to have a pure visualization of the entire thing. An inventory screen!”

Yes, the standard role-playing game inventory screen. All the money would go into a counter at the bottom right of the screen. So she could easily just open her space and take a quick look to see how much she had. She did not know if there was some kind of standard between each kingdom or country or whatever, but she figured from the looks of the gold coins with no imprints on them, she should be fine.

“Inventory!” After reading everything through, Hime decided to directly try it out. To her surprise, everything seemed to come naturally to her. Even the flow of magic she thought would be the hardest seemed to flow out as if it was second nature to her. And now, in front of her was a wood-themed screen with many empty slots. It even had a side panel that showed some information about her.

“Hmmm? Did I imagine this?” It did not say much but gave her personal details.

Name: Hime

Age: 14

Race: Catkin

Chest: Flat

Title: Idiot

“Fuck!” Hime once more yelled out. She did her best to calm herself down. She decided that she needed to grow stronger. She had finally found a goal for herself since she had the chance to grow in strength, according to the old bastard. She would keep growing stronger and stronger until she could finally reach to where the old bastard was and give him a good kick where the sun doesn’t shine! She could hear the old bastards giggling.

Taking a deep breath and ignoring the last two lines of the status, she understood two things. She was officially a catkin, and second, she was pretty young. This made her wish she had not let off those bandits so easily. Taking a deep breath, she began looting the place. She would not leave a single crumb of silver. With a wave of her hand, she yelled out: “Collect!”

The whole room, full of treasure, was now nothing but a rocky cave once more. She looked at her inventory to see swords, armor, regular clothing, jewels, and many other items now in her inventory. At the bottom, where it said how much money she had, it now read 1 million gold and 56 silver, and 32 copper. “Now bad. This should at least last a while…. I hope… There is no inflation, right?”

The concept of inflation was probably not part of this world, at least she hoped. She left the cave in a better mood as she went to the makeshift shacks that still stood and looted them as well. Of course, she did not take anything that did not look like it was worth money.

Only then did she find a stick and once more asked where she would be able to find a village before letting it fall. This time it pointed to the left of her, so she headed right. The last thing she wanted was to fall for the old man’s tricks once more.

Ten minutes after she left, a group of people quietly made their way back to the cave where the treasure was hidden. The leader of the group fell to the ground with tears in his eyes. “We are finished!”

“Boss, we can just start over!”

“It is not your fault, boss!”

“Yeah! Who knew a monster like that would appear!?” All the bandits hugged the big burly man kneeling on the ground and cried. And so the bandits that had returned all formed a tighter bond. And decided to double their operations of banditry!

---

A few hours later…..

“What the hell!?” Hime yelled out as she stood in front of another group of big burly men, all wearing blue bandanas this time.

“Little lady it is rude to yell out. Although I guess it is normal when you are about to be taken away to be sol….”

*Boom!*

“Monster!”

And so Hime gained another hefty cash flow. This time she decided to forgo the stick and just walked straight. As long as she could find a village or town, she would be happy! As long as it was a village and a town and not a bandit den.

---

A week later….

Finally! A town! Hime had no idea what was going on with this world, but after basically circling around in the same area for a week, she had run into so many bandits she wondered if this world had nothing but bandits or if the old bastard had just been planting them there. All in all, she now had almost ten million gold! Which was something else she did not understand. All the bandits were super rich! Why were they even bandits!? But now she stood in front of what looked like a large town. It had large walls surrounding it, but one thing Hime was wary of was whether or not the people of this world accepted catkin or not.
