FAQ - aBTV Texture pack

Q:What is aBTV texture pack?

A:aBTV texture pack is a Medival styled texture pack with alternative textures for lots of the blocks. In other words this pack sin NOT 100% true to vanilla textures

Q:Do you need any mods to run this pack?

A:aBTV is designed to use with BSL 7.2 and optifine.

Current versions support 1.16.4 and it will be updated to support newer versions when optifine releases for latest Minecraft Version.

The texture pack makes use of Parallax Occlusion (POM) to simulate depth.

Q:In What sizes does aBTV texture pack come in?

A:aBTV texture pack comes in these different sizes:

1024px NONE compression - High end PC

1024px LITE compression - High end PC

512px NONE compression - Mid/High end PC

512px LITE compression - Mid/High end PC

256px NONE compression - Mid/High end PC

256px LITE compression - Mid end PC

256px 2D - Mid/Low end PC Without POM

128px NONE compression - Mid/Low end PC

128px LITE compression - Mid/Low end PC

Q: What kind of hardware do you have?

A: I have 3 computers. 1 PC and 2 MAC´s

Spec:PC AMD RYZEN 9 3900X 48GB RAM NvME DISK and a RTX 3060

Soec:MAC PRO 5.1 Dual Xenon 3.36MHz CPU 128 GB RAM 7 TB Storage - I use this Mac for video production and as a Minecraft Server

Spec:Imac 27` iMac from 2011 Modded with a Nvidia GTX 890 GPU 32 GB Ram. It used too be my main computer to do artwork and graphical work. Now I use it as a ingest station for video files and 2nd angle in some Minecraft videos and time-lapse recording.

Q:How do you make these textures cause they are awessome?

A:I use a Program called Substance designer and I also uses lots of reference materials from the real world when I can.
