super excited for the diplomacy expanded mod. big fan of tactical games that involve diplomacy. rimworld has the tactical but seriously lacks any important interactions with factions. I feel like factions are super bland and dont really interreact with other factions like they should.

It’s not on us to implement. We didn’t code the vehicles framework. Its a third party framework made by smash Phil, and as far as I know, he has been working on something.

A question it is feasible to have the AI factions using the vehicles or is that to farfetched for the code to handle.

I really love all mods you create, they're very exciting and adds tons of replayability in every colony. I will patiently wait for Vanilla Childhood Expanded, that's my most anticipated mod, mainly because I love stories about new families and their children, having more control about how they become adults and learn what they want and how they behave will be really entertaining!

I know remakes wasn't the top choice and isn't a priority, I also didn't vote for it because I wasn't really thinking about it that much, but I think you guys should remake the Furniture Space Module. An a different note. Lightning Rod back when?

I wonder if medieval will be medieval exclusive gameplay. Speaking of cyberpunk i always wanted cyberpsychosis mechanic, ways to deal with it and different pawn genetic/trait tolerance to it.

Thanks for replying! The factory can gestate them, it doesn't have to be a star wars like droid factory that assembles them. I meant automation, and being able to gestate faster and more.

The problem is, mechanoids aren’t built. They are grown. Can’t really manufacture them on the mass scale unless you mean rows and rows of gestators.

Very excited about Mechanitor Expanded! I hope that there will be a way to build something like a proper mechanoid factory. Always liked the idea of a numerous mechanoid army, but it's kind of hard to do in the base game. Not sure if there will be anything like that in the mod, but either way I am sure that it will be great! Anyway, thank you for all of your hard work and incredible mods!

The health system overhaul is my #1 anticipated mod. I can't wait to see how it affects gameplay.

The most and only important thing is to allow the team to do what you do best! While it is nice to keep in touch with players, sometimes we receive mods we had no idea we needed so much and would never vote for them beforehand. Anyway, I'm sure VE team will keep delivering great results, no matter what you do. Keep it up and have a great year!

Medieval 2 has me very excited as an almost entirely low tech player. That said I'm also really keen to see how Megacorps turns out. It sounds like exactly the thing to get me to play industrial+, as it could be fantastic to base a themed urban Cyberpunk/Shadowrun modlist around.

As a huge horror and huge Rimworld fan, I would be a bit disappointed that Anomaly isn't getting more Vanilla Expanded love, but what y'all are choosing to focus on instead also looks great.

It's interesting to see other people's views, it seems I am a bit of an outlier as I quite like the smaller mods and don't have much interest in factions. Out of the roadmapped mods I am most looking forward to health expanded. Vanilla expanded seems to be going from strength to strength. I'm sure 2025 is going to be great. Thanks for all your hard work.

I didn’t vote because honestly the next few anticipated mods are exactly what I’m looking and hoping for, and I will be happy with whatever we get. I have been extremely excited for VFE Medieval 2 (VFE Classical was an absolute game changer and set my expectations wildly), and news of a VE mechanitor mod has set my balls on fire tbh. I love everything you guys do, and thank you for whatever we get.

Mhhhh, I think it depends whose feedback you are aiming at. I can think of two valid positions you can come from (not saying there aren’t more): A) Business-driven: You want to have feedback from people that support you for making a living. B) Community-driven: You as a creator want to have as much feedback as possible to make the biggest impact. I have a feeling that most likely B) was the intention behind this survey which would make it easier to use another tool than Patreon to gather feedback. Then, people might even share it with others. Granted, those tools need to be good enough to detect bots that and other techniques to skew the outcome to someone’s favor. That said I don’t think that somebody would put that much effort into skewing a survey for mods =) Standpoint A) is more complicated since you need to verify that only Patreons can vote. An easy but not elegant solution would be to post a series of questions in multiple posts. Maybe even as a part of another update post. However, that might skew the answer since if people read a post about an insanity mod they might be more inclined to favor insanity mods. So the questions need to be unrelated to the posts topic, etc. Another way might be to use Patreon SSO or something like that. I remember there was once a Wordpress login that used Patreons and their tiers for your sites members. So there will be something in place from Patreon to use. However, I don’t know the exact problems you faced and just wrote down some ideas in hope that it might spark some idea to solve your problem…

Happy New Year, and thank you for taking out opinions into account. I’m quite sure that anything you guys make will excite the community, since you do great work, but it’s still nice to see you actively seeking feedback from us. However, I have one remark on the last survey: I feel that the format was a bit confusing. You guys made great structured charts of it that were topic related, but there was only one question for us to tap/click on stuff we feel is important. Maybe it’s just me, or maybe it was by design, but I think more targeted questions, might be less confusing. Sure, you pointed out why you want to know it, but a question like “is late or early game content more essential to you?” might clarify the target question. Some people might click on both, some None while you still interpreted a community sentiment out of this. While with some point's clarification would have helped a lot since I just interpreted them as I understood them (can’t give you an example). Now, after seeing the results I immediately understand what you guys were after and would treat another survey a bit differently. Hope it makes sense. Still, good work and infinitely grateful that you guys make all our Rimworld experiences so much better! P.S. So hyped for Mechanoids Expanded!

Happy new year! Thank you for the great content you gave us in 2024, and I am looking forward to what you all will release in 2025! Vanilla expanded mechanitor looks great, I really like the idea. Just a question about it (though it is probably not yet there): Will mechanitors be able to do something with metalhorrors in the mod? I think a lot of cool stuff could be done with a "tamed" metalhorror and it always saddened me that base game gave us nothing in that regard. Those things could be a great and insidious weapon, but also a very useful implant

I'm not super keen on it, I actually don't like the DLC all that much, it offers a very narrow path of gameplay and forces players into a horror setting. Unlike other DLCs, Anomaly doesn't let you create your own story - you're just there for a ride, and the story is written. That being said, I'm looking into it!

Any plans for expanding upon anomaly? I think we answered a poll about it shortly after its release but haven't heard much since then. These plans look awesome though, especially megacorps.
