It's our way of focusing on the theme of the mod, which is Insects and hive building. We decided against adding some random weapons, or ways to essentially remove a vital for the mod mechanic.

Larger (Spelopede analogues and above) bugs can spit webs that slow or stun pawns. Webs can be harvested (somehow) as usable textile. Maybe one that naturally creates web traps that stun pawns that run into them?
