Added 2022-11-28 12:16:38 +0000 UTCThis was something I made for my Painting class. Before this, my experience with Oil paints, as well as painting in general, was slim to none. However, I was pleasantly surprised to find that it came very natural to me, and the actual demand for skill came from my own drawing knowledge. I may play around with oils more in the future, depending how expensive they get.
As for this, well, I just wanted to paint something that emboddied my struggle with distractions and personal habits. All while recreating the Windows XP background (albeit imperfectly) and that retro 2006 3D render aesthetic in the head. I had plans for painting cat pics on the phone, but deadlines are deadlines.
