Ooops!
Added 2023-10-13 15:00:04 +0000 UTCShot an entire scene with an actor yesterday, then noticed I hadn't plugged the mic jack into the camera. And it wasn't even Friday the 13th yet!
Needless to say we had to redo the scene. I played it off as "the camera didn't capture the sound properly."
I had a sound recordist who worked on 'The Darkest Part of the City' who shot all afternoon with me and forgot to turn on the mic. Then, as if that wasn't bad enough, he left my boom pole on the ground in the downtown area!
Needless to say, I'd never work with him again.
