The Future?
Added 2023-09-18 15:00:04 +0000 UTCI've been thinking about playing around with AI. Not for writing scripts - I'll always write my own scripts with no assistance. But perhaps using AI for special effects - like a dream sequence.
In general I'm not happy about the advent of AI. But that won't change anything. It's like in music, when artists began "sampling" from music of the past. Standing in the middle of the road won't change things, you just have to learn how to work with it.
AI is here, whether you like it (I don't) or not. So it's up to everyone to decide how to live with it. I won't use it to create fake actresses (I'd rather cast real women - that's one of the attractions of my films), or to write or embellish my stories. But in creating a weird dream sequence, it can be useful to small budget filmmakers like me who don't have access to CGI.
Don't expect too much - I'm not much of a techy!
