If 'Killinois' looked a little different than other films of mine, I was experimenting with super saturating the images.
One of the fun things about making so many films is I get to try just about any idea I have, either in plotting, filming, editing or coloring. I've got B&W, raw, graded, monochrome, and now saturated.
You're really getting a chance to see me evolve as a filmmaker through these experiments. That's why I always tell anyone who says they want to make film to just go ahead and shoot. Don't wait for perfect conditions to make a perfect shoot, just shoot any time you can. You'll learn so much.
