Waiting For You
Added 2021-09-23 16:00:07 +0000 UTCA man is stalked by an unknown texter who harasses him with images hacked from his phone. "Waiting For You" is a film I shot using mostly emoji's. As an experiment, I really like it. That was the phase I was in at that time - experimenting with expanding how to tell a horror film rather than the straight, linear method.
I often try and stretch my limits - whether with format, subgenres (like my giallo phase), or even writing styles. Keeps the films interesting to both me and my audience.
I've wanted to do something similar in style to this, but so far I can't come up with an interesting variation on the theme. Incidentally, there's a scene that was edited from the film, which probably would make it something I couldn't air on Patreon!
This film can be viewed as part of Season Three.
