Please Stand By

The title is based on two things - it was a message posted when a station had trouble with its broadcast. But, another lesser known use was that 'Please Stand By' was the original title of the 1960's TV series 'The Outer Limits'. The title was changed because there was fear that in the cold war days people might panic thinking it was a genuine broadcast.
